What You Don't Know About Caleb From Love Island USA

Justin Ndiba and Caleb Corprew won Season 2 of Love Island, splitting a $100,000 check and finding love. Justine was an original cast member, but Caleb entered the Las Vegas villa on day five, going on dates with Kierstan Saulter and Rachel Lundell before coupling up with Rachel. He then got to know Justine, and by day 12, they coupled up for the rest of the season. They declared their love for each other on their final date of the season.

Following their win, Caleb told Entertainment Tonight, "We are on top of the world, but it's still crazy because we still don't know what's going on outside of the villa." He also discussed the portrayal of Black love on reality television, saying, "I can't speak from a dark-skinned complexion perspective but I can speak from a man of color perspective and being a Black man." He shared that it's "awesome" that he and Justine were able to display "healthy love" for viewers who relate to them. "That is really exciting to hear that our relationship is impacting people on more than just a 'weeknight, gotta get their fix away from reality [level]," he said.

Caleb and Justine chose to couple up with each other on the show, but it was the viewers who voted on this season's Love Island USA winners. Now that they are out of the villa, they have to take on their next obstacle: long distance dating. Here's what you may not already know about Caleb.

Caleb hopes to make long distance work with Justine

According to his Love Island USA cast member bio, Caleb Corprew is an IT sales consultant who is originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Entertainment Tonight reported that he currently resides in Los Angeles, California, while Justine Ndiba lives in New Jersey. The winning couple intend to fly back and forth to make their long-distance relationship work.

Caleb told ET, "The second we get our phones back, we're talking about flights." He predicted, "We'll probably see each other in a couple of weeks. We'll probably keep seeing each together, so we can figure out a way to be in the same place — or at least the same vicinity." However, they might not be long-distance for long — Justine mentioned the possibility of moving to Los Angeles.

Although Caleb is originally from Oklahoma, he lived in Nashville, Tennessee when he was a student at Belmont University. He graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Caleb excelled as a student athlete for the school's track and field team, winning back-to-back MVP awards in 2017 and 2018. He also took home a trophy as the school's Athlete of the Year in 2018. According to his Belmont University student athlete profile, his favorite athletes are Usain Bolt and Floyd Mayweather. His favorite movie is Wolf of Wall Street. He also revealed that he has five siblings, Keilah, Cannan, Keelan, Izabella, and Elizabeth, with whom he's very close, based on his Instagram posts.

Caleb is ready to start a life with Justine

Love Island USA Season 2 winner Caleb Corpew told Entertainment Tonight, "I came in there optimistic I could find a connection, but at times I was doubtful. I did have this guard, I did put a wall up." However, one pivotal talk with Justine Ndiba changed everything. Caleb recalled, "I could see in that conversation that she was 100 percent in this for love and to know that nothing else going on around us was influencing her decisions as far as how to act, because she wanted true, genuine, authentic love."

Slow and steady wins the race, according to Caleb, who explained, "She really respected that I was sometimes a little bit more patient than other people around us. I was not trying to rush into things just because we were on this reality show." While filming, Caleb realized, "I need to really be all invested in our relationship and it has totally paid off." Patience and progressing the relationship at their own pace worked well for Justine and Caleb, so much so that he is very optimistic about their post-TV relationship.

Caleb declared, "I think we're primed and ready to rock and roll when we get out of the villa and starting a life together outside of here because we took our time in here. We're going to be able to handle whatever stuff [comes]." Plus, they already have support from the Love Island fandom.
