Is There Trouble In Paradise Between Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton?

Say it ain't so! Fans have been worried about the state of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship as breakup rumors swirl around the couple. The singers began dating in 2015 after meeting as judges on The Voice, and they were shacked up in quarantine together during the coronavirus pandemic. While they appeared to be cheery in several video interviews from Blake's home in Oklahoma, there's been chatter that these two are starting to crave some space.

"They feel suffocated and stressed," an insider told Us Weekly in September 2020. "They're both stretched to the limit." The source claimed their relationship woes stem from their decision to officially move in together. The duo purchased a $13.2 million home in the Los Angeles area back in May. "Friends say this move has turned into a nightmare," the insider told the outlet. "This is the toughest period they've had so far without a doubt."

This chatter about Gwen and Blake is bananas

Gwen Stefani put an end to the breakup rumors as she accepted the 2020 CMT Music Award for collaborative video of the year for the song "Nobody But You" with none other than beau Blake Shelton. The No Doubt songstress exchanged "I love yous" with Shelton during the virtual celebration on Oct. 21, 2020.

If the pair's public display of affection wasn't proof enough of smooth sailing, the "Hollaback Girl" also addressed the breakup rumors during an October appearance on Today. Host Hoda Kotb told the mother of three that "Gwen and Blake call off wedding" was a trending search term and asked, "What's happening with the wedding?"

With a smile, Stefani replied, "That's a really good question." She added, "Well, the good news is that we still like each other a lot." While she didn't divulge any wedding plans, a source told Us Weekly the couple was "keen to make it happen as soon as possible." The insider claimed Stefani and Shelton were planning to go "all out" for a summer wedding but said "it won't be the end of the world if they have to move things back till the fall."

While those plans seem to be at a halt, Stefani certainly appeared to like the idea of being a bride in an interview with musician Dua Lipa in August 2020. After the English singer referred to Shelton as Stefani's "husband," she sweetly responded, "Um, well...he's not my husband, but that sounded cool when you said it."
