After 11 weeks of hard work — which included a couple injuries and a perfect score from the judges – Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvinstev won Dancing with the Stars' Season 29 Mirrorball Trophy. "I don't even know how to put it into words," Kaitlyn told Entertainment Tonight after her win. "You just never know when it's going to happen and the fact that everything just aligned for us and that we're here with the Mirrorball, like, what?" Kaitlyn had wanted to compete on the dance show for years following her days as the Bachelorette, and Artem thought his dreams were "done and dusted" after not competing on the show 28th season, so the DWTS Season 29 win meant a great deal for the pair.

Fans say Kaitlyn Bristowe's DWTS victory belonged to someone else
Dancing with the Stars viewers were quick to judge when the Mirrorball Trophy went to Kaitlyn Bristowe instead of runner up Nev Schulman, who was partnered with pro dancer Jenna Johnson. "RIGGED RIGGED RIGGED!!!!! @kaitlynbristowe did NOT deserve this win," one upset viewer slammed. Other DWTS fans posted Nev and Jenna's partner picture on Twitter along with captions like "We all know who the real mirror ball champions are" and "nothing but respect for MY mirror hall champions."
Some viewers were less angry, but simply perplexed as to why the Catfish star didn't take home the win. One fan wrote, "Kaitlyn over Nev has America like" with a very confused GIF attached. Another viewer expressed sadness with a GIF from The Office of Michael Scott trying not to cry.
Unfortunately for some, angry tweets are not going to change the results of DWTS' 29th season, and Nev seems to be carrying on just fine. In fact, he quickly posted a cheeky video of him and Kaitlyn trolling each other about their time on the reality competition on his Instagram. That was followed by a photo of the two smiling together, and then jokingly choking each other like fighting siblings. "I'm soooooo happy for you!!!!" he wrote.
Maybe DWTS will let Nev come back for redemption in an unprecedented move. For now, it seems like both Kaitlyn and Nev are in high spirits over the results.
