Mary Trump Has Something Hilarious To Say About 2021 So Far

If there's one thing that can be said about Mary Trump, it's that she definitely isn't afraid to say what she thinks. The psychologist, businesswoman, and author is the niece of former President Donald Trump, as well as being one of his most outspoken critics. Mary has slammed her uncle in her book, Too Much and Never Enough, in interviews, and on social media on multiple occasions, and seriously lashed out at him after it was revealed that both he and his wife, Melania Trump had received a vaccine for COVID-19 after he spent much of his presidency playing down the severity of the global pandemic.

In a scathing tweet shared on March 1, 2021, Mary wrote, "The Disgraced Former Occupant convinced tens of millions of people that Covid was a hoax and did nothing to stop the spread of the virus. He's responsible for the deaths of over 500,000 Americans. And yet he got the vaccine. What else do we need to know?" She also added the hashtags "#pandemicide" and "#massmurder."

Mary has since shared another vaccination-based tweet on her account, but this time she's keeping things a little bit lighter. Read on to find out what she wrote.

Mary Trump is ready for her donut

Mary Trump took to Twitter on March 24, 2021, to confirm that she'd been vaccinated and was ready to get a free donut. Summing up the way many people have felt amid the coronavirus pandemic, she wrote, "It's been a long f**king year. Have a donut," alongside the hashtags "#KrispyKreme" and "#vaccinated." The tweet came about 12 months after the coronavirus pandemic really took hold in countries such as the U.S. and U.K. and restrictions were implemented to help slow the spread of the disease, forcing many people to stay at home. The star was also referencing Krispy Kreme's pledge to give away one free Original Glazed donut to anyone who gets vaccinated for coronavirus. The offer lasts for a year from March 22, 2021.

Many of Mary's followers certainly resonated with her tweet, and made it known through their responses. "Getting my first shot tomorrow and then I'm going to get a donut, cause I deserve it!" one person tweeted. Another wrote, "Mary, you made the year a little better just by being a validating force. I think I will have a donut!" A third joked, "It's going to take more than a donut to adjust my attitude towards the last year..." alongside a crying laughing emoji. Donuts at the ready!
