90 Day Fiance: The Truth About Paola And Anfisa's Feud
Feuds on "90 Day Fiance" are the cream of the crop for producers. After all, the whole premise of the show hinges on drama. The more, the merrier, so they say. However, most of the time the fights happen between couples or those close to the couple, not so much between castmates. And yet, leave it to drama mama Paola Mayfield to stir up a feud with Anfisa Nava (née Arkhipchenko), who needs no encouragement to clap back at the Colombia-born reality star.
Paola and Anfisa both starred on "90 Day Fiance." However, Paola was on Season 1 with her husband Russ Mayfield, and Anfisa starred on Season 4 with her now ex-husband, Jorge Nava. Still, that doesn't seem to stop the two women from battling back and forth about everything under the sun. And being from Colombia and Russia, respectively, the two women have temperaments that clash to the extreme. So, when Paola told Anfisa what she thought about her, Soap Dirt reports that from Anfisa's point of view, it was on!
Paola called Anfisa out for being materialistic
According to Soap Dirt, the feud between Colombia-born Paola Mayfield and Russian native, Anfisa Nava (née Arkhipchenko) hit the hot button when Paola called Anfisa a "gold digger" for being materialistic. Obviously, Anfisa wasn't just going to let that slide, and overnight the biggest feud of the entire "90 Day Fiance" franchise erupted.
Of course, Anfisa isn't innocent in this ongoing feud. Soap Dirt reported that in a "Tell-All" for the spinoff "90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?" Anfisa flipped Paola the bird and even charged the personal trainer. According to the source, Paola left the stage before the issue escalated further, but she certainly doesn't hold back her thoughts or feelings when it comes to the Russian model.
So, when Anfisa's ex-husband, Jorge Nava completed a 2.5 year prison sentence for a charge of drug possession with intent to sell, Paola hit him up on Instagram and Soap Dirt reports that fans are clamoring to see if Anfisa takes the bait. In a set of direct messages between the former reality TV stars, Paola reportedly commented that Jorge was "looking good" and told the Californian to "let us know if you're ever in Miami!" "Us" likely refers to her and her husband, Russ Mayfield. And while there are no reports of a response by Anfisa, there's no telling when this feud might blow up again.
Another 90 Day star got involved in Paola and Anfisa's drama
Feuds are common when you're in the public eye, because everything you put out into the social media-verse gets scrutinized from every angle for every possible meaning. And before you know it, a feud is born. And like all squabbles, this one has a third party involved.
According to Reality Blurb, the feud between Paola Mayfield and Anfisa Nava (née Arkhipchenko) only continued to escalate after Paola and fellow "90 Day" star Loren Brovarnik (née Goldstone) were caught talking serious smack about Anfisa to her then-husband, Jorge Nava. Reality Blurb also noted that Loren went on to call Anfisa a "b***h" and "gold digger," although the latter likely isn't too much of an insult as Anfisa made no mistake that she was only with Jorge for money.
Now that Jorge is settling into life outside prison with his girlfriend, Rhoda, and their new baby girl (per his Instagram feed), hopefully Paola, Anfisa, and even Loren can put this feud to rest and focus on more important things like their careers and families.
