Lori Harvey is the Queen of Dating. At least that's according to Vice. The model and businesswoman is showing the world how to date and date well, being linked to a string of famous men in her time. Amongst the eligible bachelors she's reported to have enjoyed a romantic connection with? Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Trey Songz, and Future. Yep, it's clear Harvey knows how to pick herself a man.
Perhaps her most famous relationship, though? Well, that would have to be Michael B Jordan. Harvey and the "Black Panther" actor enjoyed a very high-profile romance for more than a year, and weren't afraid to make their one time love for one another very obvious on social media (Harvey later scrubbed all memory of Jordan from her page, though. Awks). Their split happened in June, 17 months after they made things Instagram official, with a source claiming to People at the time that Jordan supposedly wanted to get more serious than Harvey was ready for. "She still wants to have fun and be free," they claimed, noting the two realized they didn't want the same things when Michael made it clear he pictured a future with Steve Harvey's stepdaughter.
Harvey and Jordan don't appear to have publicly confirmed the reason for their split just yet, but, if the insider is to be believed, it wouldn't be the first time making a big commitment hasn't exactly worked out for Lori...
Lori Harvey was engaged to Memphis Depay
Prior to her romance with Michael B. Jordan, Lori Harvey got super serious with soccer player Memphis Depay. In case you didn't know, Depay is a famous soccer player from the Netherlands and has played for some seriously big-time times across the world. The athlete played in the U.K. for Manchester United from 2015 until 2017, and then moved to French team Olympique Lyonnais from 2017 until 2021. After that, he transferred to the Spanish team F.C. Barcelona later that year, per WhoScored.com, while Depay also a proud supporter of his native national team, playing for The Netherlands since 2013. All that hard work has given Depay quite the nest egg too. According to Sportskeeda, the soccer player is thought to be worth around $23 million.
Lori isn't the only famous face this star has been linked to, either. Prior to his romance with Steve and Marjorie Harvey's celebrity daughter, he was linked to model Karrueche Tran in 2015, per Who's Dated Who. Then, after splitting with Lori, he seemingly started dating Chloe Bailey, who fans may best know as half of Chloe x Halle. Depay seemingly confirmed their relationship on July 1 with an Instagram Stories post in honor of her 24th birthday. The snap showed Bailey holding an F.C. Barcelona shirt in the team's empty stadium alongside the caption (via The Shade Room), "Happy birthday queen. This is only the beginning. The world ain't ready. Love you." Super cute!
What happened between Lori Harvey and Memphis Depay?
Lori Harvey and Memphis Depay went public with their romance in January 2016, according to Daily Mail, when Depay shared since deleted snaps of himself and a then 19-year-old Lori cuddling up by the Eiffel Tower for his birthday. And it wasn't too long after that when the soccer star popped the question to his lady love. Lori's stepdad, Steve Harvey, confirmed the big news on Twitter in June 2017 alongside a snap of Depay down on one knee as he prepared to slide a stunning ring on Lori's finger. "Marjorie and I are proud to announce the engagement of our youngest daughter Lori to Memphis Depay, this young man is a good one! Congrats!" he wrote.
But, by March 2018, speculation was rife that the two had quietly ended things after Bossip speculated they were seemingly no closer to walking down that aisle. The former couple went on to delete all traces of one another from their social media pages, and Lori later got candid about the split in June 2021, suggesting she may have been just too young to be engaged. "I grew up a lot and I learned a lot from that relationship," she told Bustle. "And so, I think just as I've gotten older and developed as a woman, I've taken that knowledge with me: learning what I like, what I don't like, and just applying that to where I'm at now."
