Who Is Danna Bui-Negrete On Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City?

Season 3 of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" sees Danna Bui-Negrete join the cast as a friend — but what do we know about this newbie? 

Bravo first confirmed that Bui-Negrete would feature in Season 3 back in August. Alongside the announcement, the network also released the Season 3 trailer — and let's just say, from that preview alone, it was fairly safe to assume that the new face would not be shying away from the drama. First, she let it slip to Whitney Rose that she knew someone who's since become an informant on Jen Shah. Then, in another clip, viewers were given a glimpse into a tense moment between Shah and Bui-Negrete, where the latter yelled, "If I were you, I'd be real nice right now — especially if you want some money in your f***ing books" (via Instagram). According to an NBCUniversal press release, their drama stems from Bui-Negrete sharing a rumor concerning Shah — perhaps told to her by the aforementioned informant. 

This newbie may be a friend, but she certainly didn't come to play. However, our question remains — just who is Danna Bui-Negrete? 

Like her "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" co-stars, Danna Bui-Negrete is a businesswoman — and a successful one, at that!

According to her Instagram bio, Bui-Negrete is in the Top 500 of Salt Lake City Realtors. It's no surprise, then, that she's earned a number of shoutouts from her brokerage, Peak Realty Utah, in the past. According to the brokerage's Instagram, she closed at least 19 deals in 2021 alone —and given that the brokerage hasn't posted since last September, there's a good chance that's just the tip of the iceberg. Real estate is just one of Bui-Negrete's hustles, though. Per Linkedin, she's held a number of managerial roles over the years, at both a major transportation corporation and a nail salon. It's worth noting that said salon credits her with upping their clientele base by over 30%. 

That's (still) not all, though. As she noted in an Instagram Story aimed at Jen Shah, "I own multiple properties and businesses" (via TV Deets). She also added that, contrary to Shah's suggestion that she was "working for free" as a friend on the show, that wasn't the case. As an aside, we're going to hazard a guess that Bui-Negrete and Shah aren't likely to become on-screen besties in the near future — especially not with the former ending off her Instagram rant with a shady dig at Shah's guilty plea: "Clink clank b***h!" 

On top of killing it in real estate and business, and landing a spot on a reality show (and getting that coin, as she made sure to tell Jen Shah), Danna Bui-Negrete is also a busy mom and doting wife. 

As seen on her Instagram page, Bui-Negrete shares three daughters with her husband, Ernesto Negrete. She's also a stepmom to Negrete's daughter, Aliyah Negrete — and based on family photos Bui-Negrete has shared, it seems like this is one loved-up blended family. Moreover, it's clear she and Ernesto couldn't be happier to have an all-girl brood. In June of 2021, she posted a picture of herself with the three youngest Negrete sisters, captioned, "Forever a #girlmom." Likewise, in an Instagram Story saved to her Parenthood highlights, she shared a sweet video of Ernesto being pampered by three of his girls. Along with John Mayer's "Daughters" playing in the background, Bui-Negrete gushed over Ernesto being "an amazing father." As for her relationship with her hubby, it's not hard to see that these two are smitten. In one post, Bui-Negrete referred to her husband as her "Twin Flame." In another, which sees the two frolicking in the wilderness, she noted that they were "#Loversandbestfriends." 

Danna Bui-Negrette may be new to reality TV, but one thing's for sure: with or without "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," this Utahn has got a lot going on!
