Cardi B, Offset Reportedly Back Together Following Split

Is rapper Cardi B putting the past behind her?

According to a TMZ exclusive, published on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker is reportedly back together with her husband, Migos rapper Offset, following their headline-making split late last year.

Sources cited by the gossip rag claimed that Cardi B (real name Belcalis Almánzar) and Offset have allegedly reconciled their relationship at their shared home in Atlanta, Ga. Additionally, following multiple infidelity rumors, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, has allegedly agreed to change his phone number and abide by a "no groupies" rule while on tour.

For her part, Cardi B initially denied the report in a since-deleted tweet captured by People magazine, writing, "TMZ why ya be lying. I haven't even been in Atl since Christmas." However, she later seemed to confirm the news after appearing in court for an ongoing case over her alleged involvement in a strip club crawl in August 2018. The "Be Careful" rapper reportedly told the press, "We working things out, baby."

Cardi B, who's up for five awards at the upcoming 2019 Grammys, currently faces two misdemeanor charges for reckless endangerment and third-degree assault. However, People noted that the case has been adjourned until early April of this year.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Cardi B, 26, and Offset, 27, first called it quits after one year of marriage in early December 2018. After secretly tying the knot in the fall of 2017, the celeb pairing welcomed their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, in July 2018. "Things just haven't been working out between us for a long time and it's nobody's fault," Cardi B initially told her Instagram followers, adding, "I guess we grew out of love, but we're not together anymore."

Soon after, TMZ reported that Offset had had an alleged affair with model Summer Bunni. He later faced swift backlash after crashing his ex's headlining gig at the Rolling Loud Festival to publicly beg for forgiveness.

While we wait to hear more updates on whether the on-and-off couple have actually rekindled their romance, both Cardi B and Offset are set to perform at Super Bowl events this weekend. With the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots gearing up to face off against one another, the big game will feature legendary singer Gladys Knight performing the National Anthem and rockers Maroon 5 headlining the Super Bowl halftime show alongside rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi of Outkast.

The 2019 Super Bowl will kick off at 6:30 p.m. at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. on Sunday, Feb. 3 on CBS.
