The summer of 2020 has been an incredibly controversial one for Kanye West. Following the A-list rapper's announcement that he was running for president of the United States, he held a campaign rally that left people concerned. In addition to an alarming rant he delivered — which included false claims about abolitionist and Underground Railroad hero Harriet Tubman – he also admitted that he hadn't initially wanted to have his daughter, North. Among those who were understandably worried about West was his wife, Kim Kardashian.
While many fans were wondering what the reality star thought about her husband's actions, Kardashian herself released a heartfelt statement regarding West's well-being in July 2020. In turn, he issued a public apology to his wife.
However, according to People, West had been refusing to respond to Kardashian's private attempts to reach out to him which is apparently what prompted her to board a plane and fly to Wyoming on July 27, 2020, where her husband has been staying while away from the family. "She doesn't want to be ignored anymore," a source told People.
As you might expect, their reunion was incredibly emotional.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hadn't seen each other 'for weeks'
Following a volatile few weeks, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted back together at the end of July 2020. "The pair ... were seen having what appears to be crisis talks in his car after leaving a Wendy's fast-food restaurant in Wyoming where he owns a $14 million ranch," according to the Daily Mail. From the looks of photos published by the outlet — which showed the couple sitting in a vehicle together — they seemed to be engaged in a serious discussion, and Kardashian was clearly in an incredibly emotional state.
A source talked to People about what happened between the famous spouses, explaining that "as soon as Kim got to the ranch, she and Kanye came out together in his car." That was when she was seen "hysterically crying." The source added that "Kim hasn't seen Kanye for weeks," and because of everything that's been going on, she's "very emotional" and "exhausted."
"She feels very hurt by Kanye," the source explained. "It's all a bad situation." Hopefully, the couple will be able to work together and turn things around.
