One Thing Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry Won't Do On A First Date
Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry is ready to get back out there in the dating field... well, sort of. The reality star — who welcomed her fourth child in July 2020 with ex Chris Lopez — told co-host Lindsie Chrisley on their Coffee Convos podcast (via In Touch Weekly), "part of me wants to try casual dating just to see what it's like." The mom-of-four is currently single after being off-and-on-again with Lopez for years and sharing two sons with him, Lux and newborn Romello Creed. Kailyn shares her oldest son Issac with ex Jo Rivera, and another son Lincoln with her former husband Javi Marroquin.
But when it comes to kids, Kailyn is not looking to add any more to her pack. In fact, when it comes to dating, she said that if the guy has kids, it's actually a dealbreaker. "I don't have anything in common with any man. 'Cause I'm not gonna date someone who has kids. I'm just not gonna do it. Like, I will not," she shared on the podcast in November 2020.
But what the Hustle and Heart author won't entirely rule out? Dating apps. According to In Touch, Kailyn said she's worried that people would seek her out on them just because she's on TV. However, she added that she's "not opposed to dating apps." Whenever Kailyn eventually does go on a date, whether it's through a dating app or not, there's definitely something she will not do. Why Kailyn Lowry won't be planning any dinner dates
Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry may be willing to go on some casual dates after a tumultuous relationship with ex Chris Lopez, but she does not want to go out to dinner... or lunch... or even breakfast for that matter. Because she won't eat in front of someone on a first date.
According to In Touch Weekly, the MTV star told possible suitors via her Coffee Convos podcast, "Do not take me out on a date where I have to eat in front of you because I won't." She implied that it takes a lot more than one date to get her comfortable with a romantic interest, adding, "I'm so awkward that I don't know how I would be on a first date. Like, I don't eat in front of someone for like 10 weeks."
Kailyn may feel like she's awkward, but she does have an impressive love life that Teen Mom 2 fans have been following since the reality show began. Besides the fathers of her kids, she's also dated Jordan Wenner and Dominique Potter, per Us Weekly.
Even though those relationships didn't work out, Kailyn may be ready to date again. But only if you don't have kids or take her out to eat.
