Teen Mom 2: How Kailyn Lowry Really Feels About Jo's Wife Vee Torres

Dealing with three baby daddies is no easy feat for Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry, but adding the exes' new ladies to the mix is bound to start some trouble. The reality star is a mother of four sons and shares her eldest boy, Isaac, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera; her middle child, Lincoln, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; and her toddler son, Lux, and infant, Creed, with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.

While Kailyn has admitted she has a tumultuous relationship with all three fathers at times, their wives and girlfriends have a tendency to stir the pot — particularly Jo's wife, Vee Rivera (née Torres). The pair went on to get married and have a daughter, Vivi. Since Jo is the father of Kailyn's first-born and her first experience at co-parenting with an ex, it's understandable that she would be at odds with the woman he moved on to next. "I didn't want him, but I didn't want anyone else to have him," Kailyn recalled on her Coffee Convos podcast, per CheatSheet.

Longtime fans of Teen Mom 2 may remember that Kailyn didn't treat Vee with the kindest intentions, but she said her actions were attributed to her immaturity and fear. "I mean, obviously I was a frickin' idiot, because we were 18," Kailyn said on the podcast. "I didn't know how to handle any of it. I felt like it was thrown at me." Kailyn Lowry and Vee Torres are co-parenting and co-host a podcast together

Following their rough beginning, Kailyn Lowry and Vee Rivera (née Torres) are on good terms today. In fact, the mothers even co-host a podcast called Baby Mamas No Drama. Looking back at their rocky start as young women enthralled by the same man, Jo Rivera, Kailyn attributed their beef to "growing pains," on her Coffee Convos podcast, per CheatSheet. She admitted it was "threatening" knowing her ex-boyfriend had someone new in his life.

"I think my hurt was coming across very angry, aggressive, guarded, and defensive," she said, explaining why she was so crass with Vee on-camera. At the time, Jo and Kailyn were still teenagers and had yet to determine their co-parenting agreement or work out the kinks of adding a stepmother to the mix. "I think him dating someone else made it very real that we were going to do this separately," Kailyn explained. "It was scary to think about someone else taking my spot when I wasn't there."

Sharing her side, Vee said, "Looking back, I can definitely see how scary that is," acknowledging Kailyn's struggle to accept her. "You don't know if this person's gonna be in the baby's life, and for how long." Since their rough beginning, the ladies agreed they have "evolved" and Kailyn even said it's a "blessing" to have Vee in Isaac's life. "I want her to be there if I can't be there," Kailyn said, adding, "It takes a village to raise a child."
