Inside Braunwyn Windham-Burke And Leah McSweeney's Friendship
It's a cross-country reality TV friendship! Coastal stars Braunwyn Windham-Burke of Real Housewives of Orange County and latest Real Housewives of New York addition Leah McSweeney are real-life pals away from the TV cameras.
Both blondes are known for being passionately outspoken about social issues. Braunwyn called out costar Kelly Dodd for her discriminatory comments about her sexuality, COVID-19 conspiracy theories, and "All Lives Matter" beliefs. Leah similarly was vocal about the need for RHONY to be rebooted to reflect the modern Big Apple. The Married to the Mob designer told Page Six that the new RHONY should have "not only diversity of race but an even deeper diversity of where someone lives or what their interests are...New Yorkers are not a monolith."

Leah McSweeney and Braunywn Windham-Burke vacationed together in Miami
RHONY star Leah McSweeney has made plenty of headlines this past year, ranging from discussing her decision to get breast implants to how her 13-year old daughter Kier supported her during a bout of depression. Leah also went toe to toe with costar Ramona Singer after butting heads over Leah's behavior at parties and Ramona's pandemic protocols.
Thankfully Leah found a similar-minded pal in RHOC's Braunwyn Windham-Burke. The duo vacationed together in Miami in February 2021. Braunwyn shared a snapshot of their adventures with the caption: "From apples to oranges, thank you for always being such an amazing, supportive human."
Leah quickly commented on Instagram photo, writing, "sober sisters!" with four heart emojis. Per Page Six, Leah also shared a selfie with Braunwyn on her Instagram Stories. Leah isn't the only Housewife in New York that Braunwyn counts as a pal: she reportedly is close with former RHONY star and current mayoral candidate Barbara Kavovit.
Perhaps this trio will make an appearance on the rumored new Housewives multi-city spinoff!
