Jennifer Garner Reveals Whether She Will Ever Get Married Again

Jennifer Garner is more than an actor. She's also a gardener, occasional chef, and mother. That being said, despite her impressive list of accomplishments, it's Garner's personal life that has often taken the lead in the tabloids.

Garner was married to Ben Affleck from 2005 until they announced their split in 2015. By 2018, the divorce was finalized. Affleck's infidelity, as well as his substance abuse issues, eventually drove the couple apart. Of course, their messy divorce was front page news, and Garner came off as the long-suffering yet devoted partner as stories emerged about her tireless efforts to get Affleck into rehab, per People. However, she and Affleck are reportedly back on good terms these days.

Affleck seemingly moved on from the marriage pretty quickly. It wasn't long before he was spotted with Lindsay Shookus, a Saturday Night Live producer. From 2020 until early 2021, he was linked to Ana de Armas. On the other hand, Garner has kept that part of her life pretty dang private. She dated John Miller from 2018 until 2020, but hasn't had the string of very public romances that her ex has, per Us Weekly.

That might change, though, as in March 2021, Garner opened up about her personal life and whether or not she sees another marriage in her future. Here's what we know.

Jennifer Garner is thinking about the future

She might be a big-time movie star, but Jennifer Garner's quarantine life probably isn't all that different from yours. Garner told People that she and the three children she shares with ex Ben Affleck had to develop creative ways to beat the quarantine boredom. "We started shooting silly videos, which they got tired of before I did because I love the end result and having them forever," she told the outlet.

Besides getting a lot of quality time with the kids, Garner also learned a little bit about herself in quarantine. Garner said that she now considers herself "pretty sturdy." "I'm okay when I'm in the house by myself," she added. "I'm okay when it's just the kids and me. I'm okay when they fall apart. I mean I have my moments, but pretty much, I'm really okay."

It sounds like Garner has finally hit her stride as a single mom, but what about her personal life? One thing Garner knows for sure is that she isn't interested in having more kids, "the shop is closed," she told People. As for marriage, it's a possibility, just not an immediate one. "I don't know. I'm so far from [mairrage]," she said. "I mean I definitely don't think that I'll be single forever. But this is not the time. I don't need to complicate it; I'm good."
