Inside Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton's Home In LA

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are still on a honeymoon high as the newlyweds celebrate their summer nuptials with, of course, a tour.

The couple, who first met on the set of "The Voice," tied the knot in a private ceremony in July 2021. Shelton and Stefani were pretty mums the word in the months leading up to the highly-anticipated wedding, only revealing it wouldn't be the Hollywood wedding most fans would expect. "He is the same guy that you see no matter who he's with, what he's doing," gushed Stefani in her first interview post-wedding on the "Tell Me About It" podcast. "He's just a good guy. He's very real and consistent and genuine and that, I think, is what is so attractive and why people love him so much."

While the celebrity couple excluded most of Hollywood from their wedding, their luxurious lifestyles sure played a role in the planning process and when it came time for the couple to move in together. "My spiritual journey has really guided me towards this place of peace, and now I just need to figure out how to do the rest of my life," said Stefani. So how did the couple begin "the rest of [their] life?" With the purchase of a $13 million mansion, of course.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton bought a $13 million home

According to Variety, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton purchased a $13 million Encino mansion in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles back in 2020. The home was the first big purchase for the engaged (at the time) couple. So, how does the home mix Shelton's country background with Stefani's rock edge?

Variety reports that the 13,000-square-foot home has three floors (one for each of Stefani's kids, maybe?), a home theater, and an outdoor kitchen. The home was built by Evan Gaskin on a 1.6-acre lot. A perk for the celebrity couple is the mansion is hidden behind large gates, giving the newlyweds all the privacy.

Hello! Magazine adds that the Stefani-Shelton mansion includes a tennis court, pool, and spa and is decorated with "bold prints" as seen in behind-the-scenes Instagram and TikTok videos from the former No Doubt singer herself. In one clip, for instance, Stefani showed off a Christmas baking fail from her gorgeous marble kitchen. Although the interior designs of the Los Angeles home seem to be the work of Stefani, Shelton added some country flair to another massive property the couple built in his home state of Oklahoma, where "The Voice" co-stars privately wed.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani wed at their Oklahoma ranch

As fans find out more and more intimate details behind the wedding of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, one huge part of the wedding planning that proved the couple's A-list status was the location. The artist opted to get married with just friends and family at home, but here's the catch. Stefani and Shelton built the home just for the wedding! Talk about living luxuriously.

The summer 2021 nuptials took place on the couple's private ranch in Oklahoma. The home was purchased by Shelton many years ago, according to Architectural Digest, but it was designed and built for him and his new wife to get married in. The property is a 1,300-acre ranch in a small town of the southern state and includes a two-story garage, gardens, and a pool overlooking a lake. The home itself is approximately 15,000 square feet, making it even larger than the couple's new L.A. mansion.

"Having the wedding at home was a way for their families — and Gwen — to be as comfortable as possible," a source revealed to People. "They didn't want a circus. In the end, they just wanted to have this moment with their loved ones." The source continued, "they're a very family-oriented couple, and that's exactly what the wedding was about. Family was at the center of everything."

Gwen Stefani obviously loves the SoCal life

While Gwen Stefani is living her best life with husband Blake Shelton, she's clearly a huge fan of exclusive neighborhoods in Southern California. In fact, Stefani was born in Fullerton, California, and raised in Anaheim, according to Hello! Magazine.

She stayed in the area when married to now ex-husband Gavin Rossdale and the duo shared a mansion in Beverly Hills that was initially listed for $35 million when they filed for divorce, according to the Los Angeles Times. And it's no wonder it was listed so high, considering the property boasted a tennis court, infinity pool, a playground, and even a chicken coop. Fun fact: the home was also once owned by Jennifer Lopez.

Rossdale and Stefani's home finally sold in 2019, per the Times, for $21.65 million and, while this marked the end of a big chapter for the former couple, it's clear that Stefani loves her California roots. We can't think of anyone better to ease Oklahoma-native Blake Shelton into the glamorous life of Los Angeles.
