Aaron Carter Opens Up About Dating In Hollywood
Dating is never easy, especially in Hollywood.
Aaron Carter spoke candidly about his love life during an exclusive interview with E! News on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. "It's awkward, super weird. It's definitely awkward for me. I don't have very much game," the "Sooner Or Later" singer admitted. "I'm going to be 30 on December 7 so I'm excited about the next five, 10 years of my life because in those next five to 10 years, I want to be able to settle down with somebody, have a family and be a dad but also still pursue what I love which is create music."
The former child star, now 29, also teased new music, revealing that he wrote his upcoming song, "Don't Say Goodbye," for his ex-girlfriend Madison Parker. "They aren't my exes when I'm writing the songs," Carter joked. "I'm just trying to tell them a story through the songs so that they get it or wake up or realize what is going on and it ends up being too late by the time it drops."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, the "Fool's Gold" singer is ready to settle down. "I wanna be married. I wanna be engaged to my beautiful girlfriend, Madison," he had said in July 2017. "I wanna be a good father, a good role model, a strong role model." However, the two broke up only weeks later when Carter publicly came out as bisexual in early August.
"I had to discuss [being bisexual] with my ex-girlfriend, and she didn't really understand it and she didn't want [to]," the Carter told The Bert Show. "And that was it. So we left it mutual and parted ways."
But the pop star hasn't given up on love. And it wasn't long until the "Aaron's Party" rapper began courting other dating prospects. After asking actress Chloë Grace Moretz out on Twitter, he sparked dating rumors following a flirtatious night out on the town with singer Porcelain Black, 31.
While we wait to hear updates on the "I'm All About You" singer's dating life and new music, catch up on everything Aaron's has been up to lately.
