Lamar Odom Has 'Still Got Love' For Khloe Kardashian

The former NBA player harbors no ill will towards his reality star ex.

Lamar Odom recently opened up about his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian, following news that she is not only expecting her first child with basketball pro boyfriend Tristan Thompson but is also ready for marriage again

"From a distance. I wish her well," he said during his Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 appearance on Complex's Everyday Struggle. "Still got love for her."

Odom, who was reportedly in talks to star in his own reality TV show about his rehabilitation from substance abuse earlier this year, also talked about the impact starring on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Khloé & Lamar had on his life.

"It's gonna bring a different type of light to you, probably light that you're not used to," he said of sudden fame. "I think I'm used to it now. I think if I did another reality show, I'll know how to live outside of film and sh*t like that." Odom went on, "I would never think I would do reality TV before it happened. I used to look down upon it," but added that when he was appearing on shows with his ex's famous family, "I was supportive of my wife...I'm getting money with my wife."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kardashian, 33, and Odom, 37, tied the knot in 2009, but their marriage was tumultuous and full of scandal. Kardashian initially filed for divorce in December 2013 but called it off following Odom's near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in October 2015. He reportedly spent three days on life support after suffering two heart attacks and a dozen strokes and had cocaine and opiates in his system.

Kardashian remained by his side during his long recovery but refiled for divorce in May 2016. It was finalized that October, with Odom later claiming responsibility for their split. As he told Us Weekly in March 2017, "Everything was my fault...I wasn't trying to repair my marriage...my life was all about drugs."
