Céline Dion's Twin Sons Don't Look Like This Anymore
For many Céline Dion fans, her twin sons Nelson and Eddy Angélil will forever be the singer's adorable little boys. However, they're teenagers now, and are looking very grown up — beards and all! Though the legendary singer has shared some snaps on Instagram over the years, for the most part, Dion has made a concerted effort to keep them out of the spotlight. As a result, every time we do see them, we do a double take (and we aren't the only ones). In early 2025, when the Grammy winner shared a shot of herself with all three of her sons (she's also mom to René-Charles Angélil, born 10 years before his younger brothers), Redditors were shocked by just how grown up they looked, particularly because they already boasted impressive facial hair. However, even if it was surprising that the then-14-year-olds were already sporting beards, it wasn't unheard of.
"Eh, I knew a guy who had a full beard at eleven," one pointed out. Fast-forward to September 2026, and the boys are still not lacking in that department. Granted, even as youngsters they often sported long hair (though back then it was a lighter brown, and today it's a much darker hue), so we weren't that shocked by Nelson's flowing locks when the twins were pictured enjoying a soccer match in Paris. As for Eddy, his hair was pulled back, which allowed his very full beard to stand out. As an aside, we were struck by just how much Nelson resembles his famous mom, from his eyes to his overall face shape. Even with the close resemblance, though, it's pretty clear both boys are committed to styling themselves the way they want to — with Dion's full approval.
Céline Dion is all about her sons doing their hair the way they like
Céline Dion's sons have clearly got their own sense of style, and happily, their mom is incredibly supportive of how they express themselves. You may recall that Dion once shut Ellen DeGeneres down on her show for trying to poke fun at René-Charles Angélil's hair, which was also long when he was a kid. The controversial talk show host opened the conversation by scolding her, "It seems like you're busy with something, because you're forgetting to cut your son's hair," (via YouTube). A yikes-worthy comment in any situation, but like we said, the "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" hitmaker nipped it in the bud real quick, firing back, "Do you have a problem with that?"
Dion then argued that no matter how her children chose to style themselves, someone would have an opinion on the matter, so she wasn't bothered either way. "Whatever I will do, I won't please everyone, right?" Dion reasoned. While the legendary performer made suggestions to her then-6-year-old, she clarified, "My son makes his decision about his hair." The mama bear added, "When he's ready, I'll cut it. And then when I cut it, they'll say, 'Oh, you know what? It's a little too short.'"

Dion has not spoken about her younger boys' hair, but we have no doubt she's adopted the same approach with them. Nelson, Eddy, and René-Charles Angélil have endured a lot of tragedy in their lives already, having lost their dad in 2016 and navigating Dion's stiff-person syndrome diagnosis, but they clearly have a very loving and supportive relationship, and we love that.
