Jessica Biel's Secret Pregnancy Explained
Since a lot of celebrities went into isolation in light of the coronavirus pandemic, many have fallen off the radar. Yet, while some stars have resurfaced to show off their bread-making skills, it would appear that actress Jessica Biel had her own figurative bun in the oven, as recent reports claim she and husband Justin Timberlake welcomed their second child in July 2020.
According to the Daily Mail's "exclusive reveal," Biel gave birth to the couple's second son at their home in Montana, where they've reportedly been quarantined since the pandemic began. Per the outlet, the 7th Heaven alum's mother joined the couple and their eldest son, Silas, during the early days of their newborn's life. While neither Biel nor Timberlake have confirmed reports of their child's birth, the pair certainly didn't withhold praise for one another on social media in the months leading up to the birth.
Biel honored Father's Day with a heartfelt tribute to Timberlake on Instagram. "Being a dad can sometimes be a thankless job, but today we hope you know how important you are in our lives." To celebrate Biel's birthday, Timberlake wrote: "A new adventure every day and a treasure to me. I can't wait to share many more of these with you ... You are the mostest of the mostest, my love!"
While the two have been gushing about each other on social media, as the Daily Mail notes [w]ith the exception of [an Instagram post from March 25], no photos showing Biel from the waist down have been released since her birthday in March" when she would have been almost halfway through her pregnancy.

Social media might make it seem like actress Jessica Biel and *NSYNC's Justin Timberlake's marriage has been smooth sailing, however, the pair found themselves at the center of scandal in December 2019 when the singer-turned-actor was caught — sans wedding ring! — holding hands with Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright. In photos and videos obtained by The Sun, spectators can also see Wainwright touching Timberlake's knee and stroking his leg. Yet, while Wainwright's rep told Cosmopolitan that there was "absolutely no validity to this speculation," the singer took to Instagram to express his regret.
"I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love," Timberlake wrote. "A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior."
"I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son," he added. "I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be."
Luckily, the couple seemed to bounce back quickly, as Biel celebrated Timberlake's birthday on social media just one month after the incident. "You somehow grow up without growing old," she wrote on Instagram. We're so happy to see this sweet pair thriving!
How Justin Timberlake revealed Jessica Biel's first pregnancy
Before actor Jessica Biel and singer Justin Timberlake confirmed they were going be parents, rumors about a potential pregnancy were constant. Not only did Us Weekly report in November 2014 that Biel and Timberlake were expecting their first child, but *NSYNC bandmate Joey Fatone told In Touch Weekly one month later that Biel was pregnant. However, it wasn't until Timberlake's birthday in January 2015 that the "SexyBack" singer revealed what everyone already suspected.
"This year, I'm getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER," Timberlake captioned the image of him kissing Biel's baby belly on Instagram. "CAN'T WAIT." And, as Timberlake wrote in Hindsight: & All the Things I Can't See in Front of Me, he was equally as shocked when Biel revealed the news.
"I was on the 20/20 Experience Tour when my life changed forever," Timberlake wrote (via E! News). "I had just finished a show, and I go into my car and took my phone out. There was a text from Jess, in all capital letters. It read 'Call Me Now.' I FaceTimed her back immediately. She answered with this look on her face, and I knew exactly what she was going to say. Instead, she just held up the pregnancy test, and we both started bawling. I ended the tour early so I could be at home and take care of my family."
These two are obviously dedicated to each other and their growing family!
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake wanted more kids
Although some time has passed since Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's son, Silas Randall, was born, the couple has been contemplating expanding their family for years, as they've always wanted more kids.
"I want to have as many kids as we can, if I'm being honest," he told Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio in January 2018, per Entertainment Tonight. In April 2018, Biel echoed his sentiment, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I think it would be amazing to have a bigger family. I don't know if that is in the cards for us, we will see."
Timberlake added that "the success of parenthood is feeling like I failed all day today, but I get to wake up tomorrow and do it again and, hopefully, they turn out to be a good human being."
For Biel, success lies in the bond she and Timberlake have developed as partners. "[Becoming parents] changed everything, because we're both in awe of each other," she explained. "In many moments, I will do something and feel it's a bit of a mom fail, and kind of look over at him. There's no judgment there, so it's a safe place that we've created for ourselves and our partnership."
And, while the couple has yet to confirm the birth of their second child as of this writing, we have no doubts that they will be loved!
