He's engaged to another athlete, Brittany Matthews, who was his high-school sweetheart, per Business Insider. During college, she played soccer, and she went on to play professionally with UMF Afturelding/Fram in Iceland. Now, as a certified fitness trainer, she runs her own brand, Brittany Lynne Fitness, offering online training as well as merch.

After Patrick Mahomes received his Super Bowl ring for winning the 2020 game with his Kansas City Chiefs, he presented a ring of another kind to his girlfriend, Brittany Matthews: a huge diamond engagement ring estimated to be as large as 8 carats, which would've cost a cool $350,000 to $800,000, according to Page Six.
Prior to that, in 2019, the couple dropped $1.9 million on a house in Kansas City's Mission Hill neighborhood, per Kansas City Business Journal. The home, comprising 3,759 square feet, features a pool, a home gym, and a gourmet kitchen. Mahomes gave a tour of the property for Bleacher Report, including his custom shoe gallery, featuring about 180 pairs.
We'd guess that the couple's home gym is where Mahomes works out on his Peloton (the standard bike alone costs $1,895). He told GQ that he's just as competitive on the bike as he is on the football field. But he likes to spread the wealth: He recently surprised Matthews with a Lamborghini Urus car worth about $230,000, according to Pop Culture.
But the couple that spends also gives back. Mahomes established the 15 and Mahomies Foundation to support underserved youth, per Business Insider.

As of this writing, the couple are expecting their first child together – a little girl — and from the looks of Matthews' lavish baby shower and maternity shoots, that tiny tot is bound to be a princess.
"Showering Baby Girl was the BEST," Matthews captioned a series of Instagram photos from her special day. "Thank you to my amazing friends & family that stayed safe and came, I love you all so so much," she added. In the photos, Matthews can be seen surrounded by a ton of baby pink balloons as she glowed in her pink, shimmery gown that perfectly highlighted her growing tummy. In another post, she showed off her lavish affair in a video and her jewelry game was on full display with her ginormous engagement ring and a Cartier bracelet.
Of course, we imagine their little girl will be her daddy's biggest cheerleader, and just like her mom, she will surely be decked out in head-to-toe Chiefs apparel on game day. Anyone who follows Matthews on Instagram knows she brings her A-game to the stadium when it comes to her outfit. Case in point? The Louboutins she wore to storm the field to congratulate her man at the Super Bowl in 2020. (Side note: you know their baby's shoe closet is going to be epic.)
