The Talk Co-Hosts Clear The Air After Their Heated Debate About Piers Morgan

Drama surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's March 7, 2021 tell-all interview on CBS is still unfolding. Aside from the unsurprising comments of disapproval from Meghan's family and the short responses from the British royal family, there has been a substantial amount of attention brought to the interview by former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan and the woman of The Talk

The debacle began when Piers Morgan discredited every single thing Meghan said in the highly anticipated interview, including that she felt suicidal as a working member of the British royal family. "I wouldn't believe her if she read me a weather report," he said (via Metro U.K.). This caused Morgan to receive a landslide of intense backlash, including from his co-host Alex Beresford. The pressure to apologize and Morgan's insistence that he said nothing wrong ultimately led to his resignation.

The day of his resignation, longtime friend Sharon Osbourne took to Twitter to send a message of support to her pal, which caused her to receive harsh criticism as well. The following day on March 10, 2021, Osbourne's The Talk co-hosts brought up the issue with her tweet and explained why the internet did not take her comment lightly. This resulted in a shockingly heated debate between Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood

The next day, however, The Talk co-hosts cleared the air surrounding their heated debate about Piers Morgan. Here's what they had to say.

The Talk co-hosts remain united

During the fierce debate between Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood on the March 10, 2021 episode of The Talk, Osbourne demanded that Underwood explain to her what she did wrong. "This is the situation. You tell me where you have heard him [Morgan] say, educate me, tell me when you have heard him say racist things," she said in a raised voice. Underwood responded, "It is not the exact words of racism. It's the implication and the reaction to it. To not want to address that because she [Meghan Markle] is a Black woman and to try to dismiss it or to make it seem less than what it is, that's what makes it racist."

The fiery debate was quite surprising to fans, even though the co-hosts are known to get heated on the show. Entertainment Tonight reported that the women of The Talk got together following the show to discuss the argument, but nothing was resolved. However, the next day, the co-hosts shared a message of unity to clear the air after the shocking debate. "Hello, everyone. Welcome to The Talk," Amanda Kloots said, per ET. "We are a TV family here. Sometimes we argue like we did yesterday and sometimes we laugh but we are back together again today and we are ready to start today's show. So, let's get into these topics."

While many thought Osbourne's anger may be career-ending, it looks like the ladies of The Talk have put their differences aside.
