Celebs Who've Revealed Their Celebrity Crushes

We've all been there: that moment when you see someone and just feel hopelessly infatuated with them based on appearance, personality, or talent. Regardless of whether you're all-in on a real person in your daily life, a celebrity you dream about, or an idealized fictional character, a crush can happen to the best of us whether we are looking for one or not. Then, you start dreaming about what life could be with that one specific person and start and falling for them, regardless if they even know we exist.

All our favorite stars are really just like us: they also have massive and potentially embarrassing crushes on mega-stars too. Similarly, they sometimes don't always know the best way to act if they meet them in person. I mean, if we saw Michael B. Jordan or Jennifer Aniston walking down the street, we would get totally tongue-tied if we approached them. But knowing that the likes of Tiffany Haddish and Cole Sprouse are in similar boats as us is oddly comforting. Here's a handful of mega-famous celebrities who've revealed their famous crushes and what it was like when they actually met them.

Jennifer Lawrence once gave her number to Larry David

Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence first dished on her crush on the Curb Your Enthusiasm creator during a 2014 Vanity Fair interview. As the reporter asked her the type of guy she'd want to date, Larry David's name came up. She asked the reporter, "Do you like Curb Your Enthusiasm? Do you like Larry David? I'm in love with him, and I have been for a really long time." She took things up a notch when she added, "I worship Woody Allen, but I don't feel it below the belt the way I do for Larry David."

Not only has J.Law confessed her longstanding crush publicly, but she also told Glamour that she attempted to give David her digits when she met him. In her cover interview with the magazine, she revealed, "I gave Larry David my number. And he never called." After laughing it off, she added, "He might have been like, 'That chick is 40 years younger than me. I'm not calling her.' He has a moral compass. Which makes him even more attractive. I love that he didn't call me. It makes him so much hotter."

Diane Keaton would put a ring on Channing Tatum

While appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, acclaimed actress Diane Keaton revealed her crush on Magic Mike star Channing Tatum. She went on to explain how the idea of being devoted to a single person for decades is moving, To which, DeGeneres chimed in that it wasn't too late for her. Diane Keaton's immediate reaction was the following: "Who's gonna? Wait. Oh! Channing Tatum?" While DeGeneres revealed he was married at the time, Keaton was confused that he was married to someone else that wasn't her.

When DeGeneres followed up on the question, she asked Keaton if she'd ever get married. Her response? If it's "to Channing Tatum." Well, Ms. Keaton, now that Tatum is single once more, you may still have your chance! Throughout Keaton's illustrious career, we've seen her date the likes of Warren Beatty, Woody Allen, Jack Nicholson, and Al Pacino. She even revealed to TODAY, years ago, that she regrets not getting married. She told Matt Lauer at the time, "I wasn't asked. But I did ask. I asked all of them. I did. Every one of them, and they all said no."

Nicki Minaj is Drake's ideal woman

We've seen "Hotline Bling" rapper Drake date all sorts of singers and models throughout his career, but he hasn't seemed to settle down quite yet. While promoting his Take Care record, Drake revealed (via The Daily Beast) that his label-mate (and former fling) Nicki Minaj was his "ideal woman." "If there's any woman in my life that's the ideal woman for me, it's definitely Nicki," Drake dished in the interview. "I like the stripped-down Nicki. I like Nicki with no makeup, black hair, some casual clothes in a recording booth rapping an amazing verse. That's sexy to me. I know some great women, but all jokes aside, Nicki is somebody I could spend my life with because I think we understand each other."

Back in 2010, the rapper told MTV all about his feelings for the "Starships" songstress. "Me and Nicki have a really playful relationship. When I was on tour ... I saw Nicki for the first time and, like, literally fell in love. She had this snap-back hat on that said 'Minaj.' She used to wear that every single day. She was like a theater student and she was so cold at rapping." He went on to explain that he's "always really, actually, really had a crush on her, always really loved her, and she's always just looked at me as, like, her little brother."

Helen Mirren has some love in her heart for Vin Diesel

The acclaimed actress also told Yahoo that she'd like to star alongside Diesel. She said, "My great ambition is to be in a Fast and Furious movie. I so want to be a mad driver in a Fast and Furious movie. My claim to fame is I always do my own driving — I was on Top Gear, and I did [my lap] in a very good time. I keep putting it out there, and they never ask me." "I love Vin Diesel," Mirren added. "He's a great guy, smart — I love him. It's partly because of him I'd like to be in one, but also the driving." I told Ryan, 'I don't know why this is, and I don't know what this means psychologically, behaviorally, emotionally, but I have kind of a crush on you.'" Don't feel bad, Brolin, we all do.

Not only that, but Reynolds confirmed that Brolin told him about his man crush In the same EW interview. "He's mentioned it many times, which is weird to me because he's so tough. I would just never imagine that," Reynolds said. "I don't buy that underneath all this textured skin is a sweet little angel that loves romantic comedies. I don't buy it. Not for a second."

When Tiffany Haddish shot her shot with her crushes, they both turned her down

Before funny lady Tiffany Haddish found love with rapper Common during quarantine, she was a famously single comedian who even endorsed the dating app Bumble and was never afraid to talk about the men she found attractive. During the interview, she revealed, "I have met my celebrity crushes. There are several and when I met them I asked them on a date, asked them if I could cook for them, asked if I could rub on their bodies." She then added that "they all turned me down."

While filming the first Harry Potter movies, Emma Watson had a crush on a young Tom Felton

Back in the day, the Harry Potter movies launched our many celebrity crushes on Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Tom Felton. In an interview with Seventeen, Watson dished that Felton was actually her very first crush when they filmed the first two movies. During the 2011 interview, she added that "he totally knows. She said, "We love a bad guy, and he was a few years older and he had a skateboard and that just did it really. He used to do tricks on it. He was so cool. He totally knew [I had a crush]. And the thing is, he'd turn and go, 'Oh, I see her in a younger sisterly way.' And it just broke my heart, still does."

Cole Sprouse admits he liked his onscreen stepmother

Riverdale star Cole Sprouse has been on our crush lists long before he put on Jughead's signature beanie. He first won our hearts after appearances in Big Daddy, Friends, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. In several interviews discussing his child stardom, Sprouse mentioned that when he played Ross' son Ben on the hit NBC sitcom, he had a massive crush on Jennifer Aniston. It may have been odd considering he was in elementary school and she played his on-screen stepmother of sorts, but the heart wants what it wants.

During a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Sprouse revealed his crush on the famous actress made it "quite difficult to work in front of her." He explained that, "I was a child. I would stammer a lot, and I would forget my lines. I feel like I'd maintain my composure a bit more effectively now, but it was quite difficult when I was a kid." Not only that, but the entire crew knew of Cole's crush and proceeded to tease him about it on set. "I was teased a little bit by the crew because they saw it. I would just forget, and be looking at her," he continued. "But then, the whole world had a crush on Jennifer Aniston."

Then, in an NBC profile (via People), Biles showed off her bedroom decor, which was complete with a life-size cutout of the actor. She revealed that "sometimes I used to kiss him on the cheek." After she dished on her crush, Efron even posted a photo of her and her Team USA squad on Twitter, which Biles, of course, retweeted.

Emma Roberts had an intense preteen crush on Jonathan Taylor Thomas

In a 2015 interview with Kelly Ripa (via People), the Scream Queens actress dished on her "intense" childhood crush on JTT. She even mentioned that she'd cry just from looking at a poster of the dreamy child star and admitted to collaging her walls with pictures of him.

"I'm literally getting flushed thinking about it," Roberts said during the Live with Kelly & Michael interview. "Remember when you are younger and you have crushes where you are sobbing just looking at a poster of them? That's how intense is." She continued, "I used to collage my whole room for hours with pictures of Jonathan Taylor Thomas and a couple of other people. It was a little creepy, almost. I think it was a little stalkerish." At the end of the segment, Ripa tried to prank the starlet by saying that JTT was backstage, and Roberts actually screamed before catching onto the joke.

Nina Dobrev exposed Kat Graham for her massive crush on Jeff Goldblum

Friends: we can't live without them, but can't live with them when they know your secret crushes. Kat Graham dealt with just that during a live interview. While Graham and her costar Nina Dobrev were doing an interview with Entertainment Weekly for The Vampire Diaries, Dobrev outed Graham's massive and previously unknown celebrity crush on Jurassic Park actor Jeff Goldblum. After letting it slip that her costar had "a thing for" Goldblum, you could tell Graham was so embarrassed that she immediately — jokingly — said, "I'm gonna kill her" about her loose-lipped TVD costar.

During the Entertainment Weekly interview, Graham couldn't believe that her pal broke girl code and let that information slip. Graham said, "I can't believe she just let the cat out of the bag!" She added, "It's not my first celebrity crush, that is my celebrity crush, and it's not supposed to be public!" Oops, Dobrev: you know what they say? Loose lips sink ships.

Niall Horan admitted he'd marry Selena Gomez during Carpool Karaoke

While Niall Horan's former One Direction bandmates were often coupled up with or linked to other stars, he was the lone single lad of the group for the longest time. So James Corden tried to stir the pot when they appeared on his talk show during a Carpool Karaoke segment in 2015. Corden had Horan play a game of "Would You Rather" in which the musician dished that he'd choose to marry his rumored former flame Selena Gomez out of a field also including Demi Lovato and Tina Fey. It should be noted that he chose Gomez to marry rather quickly during the challenge. While it was just a game for fun without any real implications, this story soon became front-page news as multiple global outlets reported his big crush on the former Disney star.

His crush on the Selena + Chef star goes back much further, as he revealed in a SiriusXM interview (via Elle) that she was one of his first celebrity crushes. During this interview, when he was asked about his first crushes, he said, "Selena Gomez or Mary-Kate and Ashley. Mary-Kate and Ashley, their show was great...I had all the tapes. They're twins. You know, there's two of them, and they're both great-looking. And Selena's just really cute."
