Celebrities Who Had Babies In 2023

What's more exciting than the arrival of a baby? When that baby is the offspring of celebrities, that's what. When two stars embark on procreation, the excitement of a celebrity baby is experienced by thousands if not millions of people as fans share the joy.

How celebs reveal their baby news really does run the gamut. Some maintain a level of secrecy akin to classified government documents or the plot of an unreleased Marvel movie, sometimes not revealing an infant has arrived until months after the kid's birth. Others, however, demonstrate complete and utter openness, utilizing their social media accounts to document every moment of the pregnancy and then, after the big day, sharing an endless stream of adorable baby pictures.

Regardless of how candid celebs are about ushering in a new life, there's no question that their fans want to know all about it. With that in mind, keep on reading for a roundup of celebrities who had babies in 2023.

Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy

Viewers of "Dancing With the Stars" first met Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy in their roles as pro dancers on the show, partnering with various celebrities on rumbas, cha-chas, and the like (Johnson joined the show in 2014, while Chmerkovskiy has been involved since the first season). They became romantically involved, tying the knot in 2019.

In July 2022, Johnson shared a video via Instagram to announce that she and her husband were expecting their first child. The joyous news was made even more so by her revelation that the couple had been struggling with infertility issues for the prior two years. "We had actually stopped trying to conceive for about 6 months to mentally/emotionally give ourselves a break ... so the shock, disbelief, and sheer joy in this moment is a memory I will never forget," she wrote.

The following January, the couple revealed on Instagram that their baby had arrived. "Our world is forever changed," they wrote in the caption. In a follow-up post, Jameson admitted the delivery was not an easy one, revealing she was in labor for 30 solid hours. Naturally, the couple kept Instagram followers updated on their newborn's progress, subsequently revealing they'd welcomed a son, whom they'd named Rome Valentin Chmerkovskiy. "Thank you for bursting my heart wide open and showing me what unconditional love is," Johnson wrote in yet another Instagram post.

Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope

Joey Lawrence skyrocketed to fame playing a dimwitted teenager — also named Joey — on hit sitcom "Blossom" during the 1980s. In 2020, Lawrence co-starred with Samantha Cope in the Lifetime movie "My Husband's Secret Brother," where love sparked between the two on the set. In May 2022, they got married, and quickly embarked on starting a family; that September, the newlyweds shared via Instagram that they were expecting their first child together. "The blessings just keep on coming. Proud of you babe!" Lawerence wrote in the caption, accompanying a photo of themselves on a beach while he lovingly placed his hand over her stomach. "Baby Lawrence on the way!"

In January 2023, the couple announced — once again, via Instagram — that their little bundle of joy had arrived. "Dylan Rose Lawrence — Mom, Dad and big sisters are all so smitten with you sweet girl!" Lawrence wrote alongside a photo in which they cradle their newborn daughter. "We welcomed her into this world with the most amazing midwife, everyone is happy and healthy and we are overjoyed with gratitude."

While Dylan Rose is the couple's first child, she's not the first for Lawrence. He's also the father of two children whom he shares with ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson; they divorced in 2020 after nearly 15 years of marriage.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Singer John Legend first met model Chrissy Teigen in 2006 when she was hired to appear in the music video for his single "Stereo." The two hit it off, and began dating, tying the knot in a New York City courthouse in 2013 before holding a lavish wedding in Lake Como, Italy.

The couple eventually became parents, welcoming daughter Luna Simone in 2016 and son Miles Theodore in 2018. In 2020, Teigen and Legend announced they were expecting a third child; tragically, Teigen lost the baby — whom they'd named Jack — at just 20 weeks. Then, in August 2022, Teigen took to Instagram to announce she was pregnant. "The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again," she wrote. In January, Teigen then shared the happy news that their baby girl had arrived. "She's here! Esti Maxine Stephens — the house is bustling and our family could not be happier," she wrote on Instagram.

But that wasn't the end of Teigen and Legend's 2023 baby joy! On June 28, Teigen took to Instagram once again to announce she and Legend had welcomed son Wren Alexander Stephens via surrogate. "Just minutes before midnight on June 19, I got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a bit of chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love." As Teigen noted, she'd always wanted four children, ever since she was a child herself. Sounds like the Stephens household is now complete!

Shay Mooney and Hannah Billingsley

Shay Mooney is best known as one half of country music duo Dan + Shay, alongside partner Dan Smyers. In his personal life, Shay is partnered with wife Hannah (née Billingsley), whom he married in October 2017, several months after the arrival of their first child, son Asher James. A few years later, the couple expanded their family even further when they welcomed a second son, Ames Alexander, in 2020.

Their family grew even larger in January 2023 when the pair announced the birth of their third child — also a boy. "Abram Shay Mooney," Shay wrote in the caption accompanying a video he posted on Instagram, in which he's seen snuggling his newborn son on his bare chest. "Grateful doesn't begin to cover it."

Like many music artists who become parents, the experience of fatherhood impacted Shay's music, particularly the duo's single "When I Pray for You." "I was about to have my kid at that time, so lot of emotions were stirring around," Shay told People of how the impending birth of his first child inspired the track.

Meghan McCain and Ben Domenach

After exiting "The View" in 2021, Meghan McCain and husband Ben Domenach decided to further expand their family. In January 2023, McCain posted some photos on Instagram to announce the arrival of her second child. In one of the pics, the couple's first daughter Liberty (whom they welcomed in September 2020) is seen gazing in awe at her newborn sister, bundled up in a blanket. "We are overjoyed to welcome our new daughter Clover Jade McCain Domenech on Thursday morning," McCain wrote in the caption. "Thank you all for the well wishes — we are all blissed out happy, healthy and exhausted!" In another photo, Domenach is seated, holding both children, while the proud mom beams at her new baby. In the final photo, McCain's mother, Cindy McCain, is cradling the infant on her lap.

McCain also shared a statement to the Daily Mail, for which she writes a column. "Ben and I are overjoyed to introduce Liberty to her baby sister and start this new adventure as a family," she said. "Meghan's strength and love for our daughters is boundless," added her husband. "I feel so blessed that her and Clover are both doing well and I cannot wait for our entire family to meet our baby girl."

Following the baby's arrival, McCain continued to offer updates for her Instagram followers, including celebrating St. Patrick's Day by sharing a photo of the baby wearing an adorable shamrock-festooned outfit.

Mike and Lauren Sorrentino

Mike Sorrentino may not be a household name, but his nickname certainly is. Known as "The Situation" on MTV's reality mega-hit "Jersey Shore," Sorrentino hit the big time thanks to his muscle-flexing antics and adherence to the GTL lifestyle. In November 2018, Mike wed his longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce, whom he'd been dating on-and-off since college.

After he was released from prison for serving an eight-month sentence for tax evasion, Mike and his wife issued a statement to People: "We look forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby situations!" That they did, subsequently revealing that they conceived a child on the very night that he returned from prison. Sadly, the couple revealed during an appearance on "Good Morning America" that the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. "It was heart-wrenching," Lauren admitted. A year later, though, they revealed they were expecting again, and in May 2021 welcomed their first child, son Romeo Reign.

They had more baby news to share in January 2023 when they introduced the world to their second child, daughter Mia Bella. "We got an amazing Situation!!" Mike wrote in an Instagram post announcing the birth of their daughter. "We are beyond over joyed [sic] to welcome our little girl into this world to join our growing family of 4."

Shemar Moore and Jesiree Dixon

Shemar Moore, star of CBS drama "S.W.A.T.", made a January 2023 appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" to share some big news. "I'm Shemar Moore, 52-and-a-half years old," he said. "My mother is in heaven right now, it'll be the three-year anniversary on February 8. And on February 8, I'm gonna make one of her dreams come true. Because in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy." The mother, he added, is model Jesiree Dizon. A few days later, he shared an Instagram video taken at the couple's gender reveal party, where they discovered they were expecting a girl.

About two weeks after that, a rep for the couple issued a statement to People announcing that their baby had arrived. "Shemar Moore and his partner, Jesiree Dizon, are happy to announce the birth of their baby girl," the statement declared. "The family is very happy and healthy." Shortly after, Moore shared a photo of himself and his newborn daughter on Instagram, Frankie Moore. "Already THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!" he gushed in the caption. "I'm a Girl Daddy!!!!"

Moore returned to Instagram to share a sweet photo of himself and Dizon while he cradles their baby while visiting his mother's grave. "Jesiree Dizon, we came back into each others lives and found love again and created a magical lil human together," he wrote in the caption.

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton, best known for the early 2000s reality hit "The Simple Life," married Carter Reum in November 2021. Just over a year later, in January 2023, Hilton took to Instagram to issue a post that left her followers stunned and surprised. "You are already loved beyond words," she wrote in the caption accompanying a photo of her manicured fingers intertwined with those of a newborn baby. There was initially some confusion, given that Hilton had shown no signs of pregnancy in the previous months, but she cleared that up in an interview with People, confirming the baby was born via surrogate. "It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," she gushed. "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."

During an episode of her "This is Paris" podcast, Hilton subsequently revealed her son's name: Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. "I've been planning my children's names for years and years," she said, revealing that she chose her son's middle name, Barron, to honor her late grandfather, hotel tycoon Barron Hilton. "He was always my mentor, and I looked up to my grandfather so much, and we were so close, and I miss him every day, so I really wanted to honor him by having his name in my first son's name," she shared.

Casey Wilson and David Caspe

Actor Casey Wilson and producer David Caspe met in 2013, after she was cast as part of the ensemble in cult-hit TV comedy "Happy Endings," which Caspe created. They walked down the aisle in 2014. The newlyweds didn't waste time before starting a family, welcoming son Max Red in 2015, followed by son Henry Bear, born in 2017.

In January 2023, the couple announced the arrival of their third child, daughter Frances "Frankie" Rose. "This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius," Wilson declared on Instagram, where she shared the first photo of her newborn daughter. She also revealed that her daughter was born via surrogate. "Surrogacy is women supporting women in its highest form and it has been a profound experience. Uplifting and inspiring," Wilson added. "Frankie Rose is more than I could have ever imagined," Wilson continued. "She completes the sacred circle of mother and daughter I have longed for."

Wilson followed up several weeks later, with another Instagram post featuring a photo of herself cradling Frankie in her arms while gazing at her with adoration. In the caption, Wilson's hilarious sense of humor burst through. "Looking so forward to retiring and managing her influencing career and paying to get her into UCLA! Fingers crossed both our careers warrant a New York Mag cover," she wrote, adding the tongue-in-cheek hashtag #nepobaby.

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and model Behati Prinsloo tied the knot in 2014. They subsequently had two children, daughter Dusty Rose (born in 2016), followed in 2018 by another girl, Gio Grace. Then, in September 2022, Prinsloo shared a selfie on Instagram. While she didn't add a caption, the photo featured her posing in profile through a large window, with her baby bump clearly on display. "We always knew we wanted a second one. So I think for me in those two years, when I had two babies under the age of 2, I was just like, 'Don't even think about it!'" she told ET of why she and her husband waited those years before having a third child. "But I do also want five kids, but don't even think about it."

The timing of her pregnancy announcement, however, proved problematic; less than a week later, Levine became embroiled in scandal when allegations emerged that he'd been cheating on his wife after a woman named Sumner Stroh posted racy text messages on TikTok that she claimed he'd sent. Levine subsequently issued a statement via Instagram Stories (via ET Canada), consisting of a kind-of denial. "I did not have an affair," Levine wrote, "nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life."

Neither Levine nor Prinsloo addressed the scandal further. However, they were still together when, in late January 2023, People reported that their baby had arrived.

Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa

Tarek El Moussa first entered the public eye when he and then-wife Christina (now known as Christina Hall) debuted their HGTV series "Flip or Flop." The series proved to be a monster hit for the home-and-garden network, remaining so even after the couple's divorce.

El Moussa found love again, with Heather Rae Young of Netflix reality realtor series "Selling Sunset." El Moussa proposed, and they got married in fall 2021. The following July, the couple revealed to People that they were expecting their first child together (Tarek also shares two children with his ex-wife). "It was a huge shock," she told the magazine, revealing they didn't believe they'd be able to have a baby without medical assistance. "We just weren't expecting this. We had just gone through IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan."

The big day arrived in February 2023 with the arrival of son Tristan Jay. "OMG....I have 3 kids!!!! How did this happen?" the proud papa wrote on Instagram, announcing his son's birth. The couple continued to share regular updates on Tristan's progress following the birth. Speaking with Us Weekly, the new mom explained how they came to choose their son's name. "Tarek was supposed to be named Tristan, and his parents ended up naming him Tarek," she said. "And then my dad's middle name is Jay. So it's four generations of the middle name Jay."

Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka'oir Davis

Rapper Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka'oir Davis had been dating for eight years when they got married. This was no small, intimate ceremony; in fact, the couple exchanged vows in front of television cameras, with the nuptials broadcast live during the 2017 premiere episode of the couple's BET reality show "The Mane Event." It was a few years later, in December 2020, that the spouses revealed via Instagram that their first child had arrived, a son they named Ice.

Just over two years later they had another announcement to make, also via Instagram, when they welcomed their second child. "Im so thankful that my baby girl is here and she so pretty and healthy," he wrote in the caption, revealing his daughter's name to be Iceland.

The rapper is actually the father of three. As he revealed in an interview with Billboard, he had previously fathered a son — something he didn't even find out about until the child was nearly a year old. Even though he wasn't technically a first-time father when he and his wife had their first, it felt that way to him. "I never knew how much attention you got to pay to a baby," he marveled. "It's not easy. It's a great thing and I love it, but it's definitely challenging to be a parent."

Jason and Kylie Kelce

As center for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Kelce famously faced off against his own brother — Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — in the 2023 Super Bowl. While he had no reason to celebrate after the Chiefs crushed the Eagles in the final quarter, that changed less than two weeks later when he and wife Kylie announced the arrival of their third child, a baby girl. "Yesterday little lady #3 joined us," the NFL star wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo of his newborn daughter. Her name, he revealed, was Bennett Llewellyn Kelce.

That name has special meaning, Kelce revealed during an episode of "New Heights with Travis and Jason Kelce," the podcast he hosts alongside his QB brother. "Interesting way of spelling Llewellyn, not gonna lie," Travis joked. "It's a tough one," agreed Jason. "I was already struggling with that one," Travis quipped, referring to the double-L at the beginning of his newborn niece's name.

After a brief discussion of words that start with double letters, Jason revealed that Bennett's middle name, Llewellyn, paid tribute to the siblings' late grandmother. "It's Grandma Mary's maiden name. I wanted to honor Grandma Mary, who is now resting in peace," he explained. "She had a good run."

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively met Ryan Reynolds when they co-starred in the superhero bomb "Green Lantern," sparking a romance that led them to the altar in 2012. They started a family: daughter James, born in 2014; second daughter Inez, who arrived in 2016; and third daughter Betty, who was born in 2019.

In September 2022, Lively surprised everyone when she debuted another pregnancy — on the red carpet at the Forbes Power Women's Summit, of all places. She subsequently took to Instagram, posting several photos of her pregnant self — even her ample bare belly — explaining she was doing so in order to scope the paparazzi that had staked out her home in hopes of getting a coveted pregnancy photo. The following February, she shared another photo via Instagram — in which her baby bump had mysteriously vanished, indicating she and Reynolds had welcomed their fourth child.

During a subsequent TV appearance, on CNBC's "Power Lunch," Reynolds was reluctant to admit he was now the father of four. "I ain't telling, this ain't a birth announcement," he quipped. Later, however, when asked how the new arrival was doing, he seemingly offered confirmation. "We're very excited," he said. "Look, we wouldn't do this four times if we didn't love it." He also referenced his fourth kid in a subsequent interview with ET Canada. "You know, two to three was a huge jump... three to four less so," he said.

Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson

When it comes to the surprising pregnancy reveals, it's tough to top Rihanna's shocking revelation of her baby bump while performing for a television audience of 100 million-plus during her Super Bowl halftime performance. Coming in at a close second is Keke Palmer, who similarly surprised TV viewers by announcing her own pregnancy during her show-opening monologue, baring her belly while making her hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live" in December 2022.

The following February, she took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and her partner, Darius Jackson, with some big news to announce: their baby had arrived, and it was a boy. She also revealed her son's name, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.

A few weeks later, she shared another pic on Instagram, this one featuring her pushing a stroller. She also shared an update that addressed being a new mom. "I have juggled quite a few careers but this is my greatest gig of all," she wrote. "Learning how to balance it all and looking forward to discovering this new person I am becoming. I will never be the same again, but if you thought I was a bad mama jamma before, you can't imagine the greater purpose my son has given my life!"

Sophia Grace Brownlee

Sophia Grace Brownlee skyrocketed to fame when she was all of eight years old, after she and her five-year-old cousin Rosie made their first of what would be dozens of adorable appearances on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2011, singing a duet of Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass." The cousins returned to the show in May 2022 — Brownlee now 19, while her cousin was 15 — for one final performance of the same song, more than a decade later.

Several months later, in October 2022, Brownlee shared the news (in a YouTube video) that she was five months pregnant. In an interview with E! News, she responded to backlash from those who felt that she wasn't mature enough to become a mother. "I feel like 19 is quite young, obviously, to have a baby. Usually most people are like, 'You should have babies when you're 30 and you're married and you live in your own house,' which is completely fine. But obviously everyone's gonna have their different opinions," she said.

In late February of 2023, she shared a photo on Instagram in which a newborn's tiny hand was wrapped around one of her fingers, indicating that she was now a mom. She subsequently shared details of the birth in a YouTube video, revealing the baby came five days early, and that she hadn't even realized she'd gone into labor. "It was not like the pain that I imagined it to be," she admitted.

Grace Gummer and Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson is one of the biggest names in the music biz, having produced artists such as Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and many more. Since 2020, he's been romantically involved with Grace Gummer, an actor whose credits include TV series such as "American Horror Story" and "Let the Right One In." In 2021, Ronson revealed in an Instagram post that he and Gummer had wed, writing, "To my truest love...out of nowhere, you made 45 hands down the greatest year of my life ... (and yes, we got married)." In October 2022, it was reported that Gummer was pregnant.

The intensely private couple made Gummer's mom — legendary Oscar winner Meryl Streep — a grandmother in early 2023. In mid-March, Ronson's sister, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, confirmed that the couple's baby had arrived — and was a girl. "[Gummer] just had the baby," Dexter-Jones told People. "She's two and a half months now. She's stunning."

Page Six confirmed the news by publishing paparazzi photos of Ronson and Gummer out for a stroll in New York City, with Gummer walking the couple's dog while Ronson kept their infant daughter strapped to his chest with a baby carrier.

Gina Rodriguez and Joe LoCicero

Gina Rodriguez is best known for starring in The CW's "Jane the Virgin," and her more recent role in TV comedy "Not Dead Yet." In 2019, she married fellow actor Joe LoCicero (whose credits include "The Bold and the Beautiful"), with the two meeting on the set of "Jane the Virgin" when he was cast as a guest star.

She revealed that she and LoCicero were expecting their first child in a July 2022 Instagram post, sharing a video in which she excitedly shows her followers the positive pregnancy test confirming she was expecting. The following January, the very pregnant Rodriguez made an appearance at the Television Critics Association press tour to promote "Not Dead Yet," and admitted that having a baby wasn't something that they had planned. "It's my first time experiencing this, doing this [while pregnant] and the [producers] have been so loving and supportive of me accidentally getting pregnant right before the show started — out of love, obviously," she said, as reported by ET. "My husband, we're very excited about it, but it obviously wasn't planned. But it was, he planned it."

In March, it was confirmed that Rodriguez and LoCicero had officially welcomed their first child. A few weeks later, Rodriguez offered an update, writing on Instagram that she was breastfeeding while watching "Dancing With the Stars" — and that she'd welcomed a son, whom they'd named Charlie.

John Osborne and Lucie Silvas

John Osborne is well known to country music fans as one half of Brothers Osborne, which he formed alongside sibling T.J. In 2015, he married Lucie Silvas.

The couple waited a few years to start a family, announcing in October 2022 that they were expecting twins after a long struggle with infertility. "We are so excited," Silvas told People at the time. "It is such an amazing thing to be in this position to be growing two babies. When you think that you may never have the chance to have children and then suddenly you're going to have two, it's amazing." As she explained, they had been trying to conceive for years, and it had not been easy. "We went through a very long, tough journey with IVF to get to this point," she added. "We had an embryo transfer where we transferred two embryos thinking that would give us a better chance of getting one [baby], but we got two. I think deep down, we were hoping for two."

That long journey came to its culmination in March 2023 when Osborne took to Instagram to share a joyful message: their twins had arrived, one boy and one girl. "Welcome to this crazy world, Arthur and Maybelle. It's going to be a wild one," Osborne wrote, also paying tribute to his wife. "You're a damn boss," he said, tagging her Instagram account.

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wed Dr. Priscilla Chan, his college girlfriend, in a surprise 2012 ceremony, with the The Washington Post reporting that they'd invited guests to what was billed as a surprise party for Chan, but was actually their wedding.

The pair were already parents of two (daughters Maxima, nicknamed Max, born in 2015, and August, born in 2017) when they revealed they were expecting a third. "Lots of love," Zuckerberg shared in a September 2022 Instagram post. "Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!" That baby arrived the following March, which he also revealed via Instagram. "Welcome to the world, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg! You're such a little blessing," he wrote.

Back in 2017, prior to the birth of August, Zuckerberg spoke with People en Español about how becoming a father had impacted him. "Leading up to having Max changed my perspective a lot," Zuckerberg said. "We actually had a few miscarriages before having Max so at the time we actually knew that we were going to have her, we were just so happy that it's like, 'Okay, we think that she's going to be healthy and is going to come.'"

Tom Daley and Justin Lance Black

Dustin Lance Black wears many hats, including director, screenwriter, producer, and LGBT rights activist, who won a 2009 Oscar for his screenplay for the film "Milk." In 2017, he married Olympic diver Tom Daley, with the wedding taking place in Daley's native Britain.

The following year, Black and Daley announced in The Times that they were parents to a baby boy, via surrogate. "Welcome to the world little Robbie Ray. Thank you for bringing so much love and light with you. And thank you to those who helped make our dream of having a family into this wonderful reality," Black wrote on Twitter. The couple had a surprise announcement to make in April 2023. "Our family has grown in the last week, we welcomed Phoenix to the world on 28/03/23 and he's just perfect," Daley wrote in an Instagram post. "Robbie is loving being a BIG BRO."

Prior to the arrival of Phoenix, Daley hinted that he and Black were anxious to expand their family but kept the fact that they were expecting a second child a secret. "We've always said that we want to have more kids," he told The Times, just weeks before the birth announcement. "It's slightly more complicated for us than a bottle of wine and a good time. There's lots of planning."

Emmy Rossum and Sam Esmail

Emmy Rossum has had many high-profile acting roles throughout her career, but remains best known for playing the eldest Gallagher sibling in Showtime hit "Shameless." In 2015, she became engaged to Sam Esmail, producer of such TV hits as "Mr. Robot," "Gaslit," and "Angelyne," in which Rossum starred. They exchanged vows in 2017, getting hitched during the course of the Memorial Day weekend.

They welcomed their first child in 2021, sharing the news via Instagram, with Rossum subtly revealing the following year that she'd given birth to a daughter.

In April 2023, Rossum once again used Instagram to make another big announcement: that she and Esmail now had a second child. "On a foggy Wednesday morning, our son was born," wrote Rossum alongside an image of the birth certificate, indicating the date of birth (April 5) and the baby's weight and length, but nothing else. What made the announcement all the more intriguing was that nobody had even the slightest hint that Rossum was pregnant — once again concealing her pregnancy and preserving her privacy.

Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey

Kaley Cuoco spent years as one of television's highest-paid actors thanks to her role in mega-hit CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory." Unfortunately, Cuoco has been far less successful at matrimony than she has been at acting, with her first two marriages (to Ryan Sweeting, and then Karl Cook) both ending in divorce. Her luck changed, however, when she met actor Tom Pelphrey, best known for portraying Ben Davis on Netflix drama "Ozark." The two officially confirmed they were dating in spring 2022, and appeared in public as a couple for the first time in May 2022.

A mere five months later, Cuoco took to Instagram to reveal that she and Pelphrey were expecting a visit from the stork. "Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023," Cuoco wrote, adding that she was "beyond blessed and over the moon."

After months of keeping her millions of Instagram followers updated on the progress of her pregnancy, on March 30, 2023, she announced that she and Pelphrey had welcomed a daughter. "Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!" she wrote in an Instagram post that also included an array of baby pictures. "We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle," Cuoco wrote, tagging Pelphrey and adding, "didn't think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did."

Daisy Lowe and Jordan Saul

The daughter of Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale and fashion designer Pearl Lowe, Daisy Lowe has become a celebrity in her own right as a model and media personality in her native U.K. In September 2022, Lowe became engaged to Jordan Saul, whom she'd been dating for almost two years. The following month, she had some big news to share with her Instagram followers. "I wanted to share some news with you — Jordan & I are having a baby," she wrote. "We are absolutely bursting at the seams with happiness. I'm oscillating wildly between excitement & nervousness with a dash of morning sickness thrown in for good measure!"

That baby arrived in early April of 2023. "Our Easter egg finally hatched!" she wrote in an Instagram post, introducing her newborn daughter. "Ivy Love Saul you have made all my dreams come true — our dream girl," she wrote in the caption, accompanying a photo of herself and Saul looking in wonderment at their precious baby daughter. "I have never known happiness or love like this," she added. "I can't stop crying tears of joy."

Robert De Niro and Tiffany Chen

In May 2023, Robert De Niro was being interviewed by ET Canada about his new movie "About My Father" when he was asked about being the father of six children. "Seven, actually," the then-79-year-old Oscar winner said before casually dropping a bombshell. "I just had a baby."

In a subsequent interview with Page Six, De Niro was asked if he was surprised by welcoming a baby while on the cusp of becoming an octogenarian. "No," he declared, insisting the baby was not an accident. "How could you not plan that kind of thing?" he asked. While De Niro didn't reveal the identity of the mother, Page Six connected the dots by noting that De Niro had previously been filmed exiting a restaurant with a group of celebrity friends (including his "Taxi Driver" co-star, Harvey Keitel, and comedian Billy Crystal), along with his much-younger girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, who appeared to be rather pregnant.

De Niro confirmed he'd just become a father, and that Chen was the mother, when he sent "CBS Mornings" anchor Gayle King a photo of infant daughter Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro, revealing she was born on April 6. The new parents, King told viewers, were "over the moon about this little girl." As King pointed out, there was quite an age range between De Niro's children, from the recently arrived baby to De Niro's oldest child, Drena, who was born in 1971 — more than 50 years before her little sister, Gia.

Derek and Hannah Jeter

Former New York Yankees slugger Derek Jeter has dated a lot of famous women, a lengthy list that reportedly includes Mariah Carey, Scarlett Johansson, Tyra Banks, Minka Kelly, Jessica Biel, and Jessica Alba. He finally settled down after meeting swimsuit model Hannah Jeter (née Davis) in 2012, with the couple tying the knot in 2016.

The newlyweds wasted little time before starting a family. Having welcomed daughter Bella Raine about a year into their marriage, their first child was soon joined by little sisters Story Grey (born in 2019) and River Rose (whom they welcomed in December 2021). On May 5, 2023, the pair welcomed their first son, Kaius Green Jeter. "Welcome to the world lil man!!!" Derek wrote in an Instagram post announcing his son's birth.

A son promised to shake things up in the Jeter household, in which the MLB legend had previously been the only male surrounded by women. "It's controlled chaos," he said of being the father of three young daughters during a February 2023 appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." "It's school pick-ups, drop-offs, they do my nails, my toenails, makeup, lipstick. It's the greatest thing I've ever experienced though — my girls, they are the absolute best."

Lindsay Arnold and Samuel Lightner Cusick

Lindsay Arnold is well known to viewers of "Dancing With the Stars," having joined the show in Season 16 after making a splash as a finalist on "So You Think You Can Dance." In 2015, she and high school sweetheart Samuel Lightner Cusick married when they were both 21 years old. Five years later, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Sage Jill.

In late August 2022, Arnold announced she was exiting "DWTS," citing the "complicated logistical" difficulties of living with her husband and baby daughter in Utah, while the show filmed in Los Angeles. A couple months later, Arnold revealed some happy news to People. "Sam and I are thrilled to announce we're pregnant with baby No. 2!" she declared. However, the dancer also admitted that conceiving their second child had been a struggle, discussing her deflation when she previously thought she'd become pregnant, only to receive a false reading on a home pregnancy test.

In 2023, the couple announced that their second child had arrived on May 3. "Baby girl is here and we are so in love," Arnold wrote in the caption accompanying a photo she posted on Instagram. In a subsequent post, she revealed her second daughter's name: June. Just a few weeks after welcoming baby June, Arnold returned to Instagram to share a photo of herself and her two daughters on an exceptionally joyous Mother's Day. "Feeling so blessed this Mother's Day with my two girls," she wrote in part.

Rumer Willis and Derek Richard Thomas

Rumer Willis has grown up under the spotlight, given that she's the scion of famous parents Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. In December 2022, Rumer announced via Instagram that she and boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas had some big news to share, the impending arrival of their first child. Moore reposted the photo, in which Thomas was laying a kiss on his girlfriend's pregnant belly. "Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era," she jokingly wrote in the caption. In a subsequent Instagram post, Moore shared a photo of herself and her three daughters together for Rumer's ultrasound. "Saying hello to the little nibblet!!" Moore wrote. "Overjoyed for you, my sweet Rumer. It's an honor to witness your journey into motherhood, and can't wait to welcome this baby into the world!"

In April 2023, Rumer spoke to People about the impending arrival of her baby, noting that the child would be joining a distinctively unique family. "We're a family of weirdos, and I love that so much," she said. "I really hope that that is engendered in this child."

Shortly after the publication of that interview, Rumer welcomed her newborn little weirdo on April 18. Announcing the news in an Instagram post that featured an adorable photo of the new arrival, Rumer revealed she'd had a baby girl, named Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. "You are pure magic," she wrote in the caption, adding, "You are more than we ever dreamed of."

Daniel Radcliffe and Erin Darke

Moviegoers watched Daniel Radcliffe grow up before their eyes, portraying young wizard Harry Potter in eight blockbuster movies between 2001 and 2011. In 2012, Radcliffe began dating fellow actor Erin Darke, whose screen credits include series regular on TV drama "Good Girls Revolt" and a recurring role in "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." "I've got a really nice life. I've been with my girlfriend for a decade pretty much. We're really happy," Radcliffe gushed in a 2022 interview with People.

In March 2023, a source told British tabloid the Mirror that Radcliffe and Darke were going to become first-time parents. "They are absolutely thrilled, and can't wait to become a family of three," the source said. "They told their families and friends recently. It's an incredibly exciting time." Just one month later, the Daily Mail confirmed those claims by publishing a paparazzi photo of Radcliffe pushing a baby stroller in New York City.

Prior to the arrival — as of May 2023, neither the baby's sex nor name had been revealed — Radcliffe opened up about his hopes and dreams for his progeny. "I want my kids, if and when they exist ... I would love them to be around film sets," he told Newsweek. "A dream would be for them to come onto a film set and be like, 'God, you know, I'd love to be in the art department. I'd love to be something in the crew.' Some part of this." Radcliffe later noted, "But still, I wouldn't want fame for my kid."

Kelly Mi Li and William Ma

Fans of reality television were first introduced to Kelly Mi Li in "Bling Empire," the Netflix series that made its debut in 2021. As viewers will no doubt recall, she and her longtime boyfriend, Andrew Gray, encountered some obstacles in their relationship, but ultimately called it quits not long after the first season aired.

In November 2022, Li excitedly shared some big news with her Instagram followers, posting a photo of her joyful expression as she looked at a positive pregnancy test. "Well, the mystery to why I've been craving sweets and not just spicy food is finally solved!" she wrote in the caption of the post, which appeared to have been sponsored by Clear Blue pregnancy tests. The following month, in a video she posted on Instagram, she announced the baby's sex, slicing open a cupcake to reveal a pink filling to indicate she was expecting a girl.

The following April, Li revealed that she and her partner, William Ma, had welcomed their daughter, whom they named Mili. "Welcome to the world Mili!" Li said in an interview with People. "She's finally here after being fashionably late to her own due date!" Celebrating her first Mother's Day as a mom the following month, Li posted an Instagram pic of herself, her daughter, her mother, and her grandmother. "Being a new mom has given me an eye opening perspective of the joys and challenges of motherhood," she wrote in part.

Ireland Baldwin and RAC

Model Ireland Baldwin boasts celebrity genes, thanks to movie-star parents (and notoriously bitter exes) Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger. On New Year's Eve of 2022, she took to Instagram (in a post that she later deleted, as reported at the time by ET Canada) to reveal she was expecting her first child, and would be passing along that rarified DNA to a new generation. The father was eventually revealed to be her boyfriend, musician RAC.

In mid-June, Baldwin shared the news of her baby's arrival in a since-deleted Instagram post (as reported by People). The baby was a girl, she revealed, whose name was Holland, and is the first grandchild for her divorced parents.

Baldwin documented much of her pregnancy on Instagram for a few months but pulled back after becoming disenchanted with social media. In a series of posts she shared via Instagram stories (as reported by Page Six), Baldwin explained her rationale, revealing she'd been receiving unwarranted criticism from some of her followers. "You can only block so many frightening/ judgmental/ deranged low lives in a day," she wrote, dismissing social media on the whole as a "toxic pit of nothingness."

Tan and Rob France

"Queer Eye" star Tan France and husband Rob have been together for quite some time, tying the knot in 2007. Back in 2021, the two revealed that they'd enlisted a surrogate to have a baby. That August, the couple took to Instagram to announce the child's arrival, introducing their son, Ismail France.

Two years later, he announced during a podcast appearance that he and his husband were doing it all over again, and were expecting their second child together, via surrogate. On May 30, they made it official. "Welcome baby boy #2, Isaac France, born this past weekend," France wrote in the caption for a photo of the whole family that he posted on Instagram. "He completes our little family perfectly. And a huge thank you to our incredible warrior of a surrogate, for giving us the greatest gift one could ever give."

Fatherhood, France said in a 2022 interview with PopSugar, had truly been a life-changing experience for him. "I love that man more than life itself," he said of Rob. "And then this baby came along and I realized, wow, I don't think I really understood how deep love can go. Not to diminish my love for my husband; I just don't think it's possible to love another adult the way you love a baby ... it's just mind-blowing."

Sadie Robertson Huff and Christian Huff

Television viewers were first introduced to Sadie Robertson back in 2012, on A&E's hit reality show "Duck Dynasty." As viewers will recall, the series focused on the supposedly unscripted shenanigans surrounding the family-owned duck-call company run by her father, Willie Robertson, and grandfather, Phil Robertson. She has since struck out on her own as an author, podcaster, and actor in projects including the film "God's Not Dead 2" and the Hallmark Channel rom-com "Sun, Sand & Romance", in addition to tripping the light fantastic as a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars."

In 2019, she married Christian Huff, and the two eventually started a family, welcoming daughter Honey in 2021. That birth, she subsequently revealed in an episode of her "WHOA That's Good Podcast," was a difficult one, with the baby's shoulder becoming stuck in the birth canal during delivery and requiring medical intervention.

In November 2022, she shared an announcement via Instagram that she and her husband were expecting a second child. "Another little miracle is in motion," she wrote, accompanying a photo of herself, her husband, and daughter Honey on their porch, while she holds ultrasound images of her unborn baby. The following May, that baby arrived: a second daughter, whom they'd named Haven. "Haven has brought a touch of heaven," she wrote in her Instagram post announcing the baby's arrival.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth

Joy-Anna Duggar came to fame on TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," ninth of the titular 19 offspring of staggeringly fertile couple Joe Bob and Michelle Duggar. In May 2017, People reported that she tied the knot with Austin Forsyth, after a brief courtship that began the previous year. At the time of the wedding, she told People that she and her husband were eager to follow in her parents' footsteps and get procreating. "We love kids and we're excited to have a family," Joy told the magazine, as reported by UPI. "We want as many as the Lord thinks we can handle and we are putting it into his hands," she added.

It didn't take long for the couple to get started. The following year, they welcomed son Gideon, with the news announced on the Duggar family website, and even more details offered in an exclusive feature for People. Then, in August 2020, she shared some photos on Instagram to introduce newborn daughter Evelyn Mae. "I wanted her name to be perfect and elegant!" she wrote.

The couple expanded their family in 2023, when they were greeted by the arrival of a second son. "He's here!" she wrote on Instagram. "Thank you all for praying ... Mama and baby are recovering well." In a subsequent post, she revealed her newborn's name: Gunner James Forsyth.

Jonah Hill and Olivia Millar

Over the years, Jonah Hill demonstrated his mastery of both wacky comedies like "Superbad" and "21 Jump Street" and critically acclaimed dramas including "Moneyball" and "The Wolf of Wall Street." On a personal level, he's carved out a reputation for keeping his private life private. However, he did make the gossip columns when he was first romantically linked to actor and director Olivia Millar (daughter of famed model Esmé Marshall) in the latter half of 2022.

The following March, Hill uncharacteristically made headlines when he and Millar were spotted doing some shopping in Santa Monica, with paparazzi photos of the couple including two unexpected features: Millar sporting a baby bump, indicating a pregnancy, and a large diamond ring on that finger, leading to the assumption that the two had gotten engaged.

In early June of 2023, People reported that Millar and Hill had welcomed their first child together, with his rep confirming the news. Neither the baby's name nor sex have yet divulged at that time.

Jessie J & Chanan Safir Colman

In November 2021, singer Jessie J shared a heart-wrenching Instagram post, which she subsequently deleted. She revealed that she'd become pregnant after setting out to have a baby on her own, only to suffer a miscarriage when a scan revealed the heartbeat that had previously been detected was no longer present. "To get pregnant was a miracle in itself and an experience I will never forget and I know I will have again," she wrote, as reported by People, adding, "I'm still in shock, the sadness is overwhelming."

In January 2023, she issued an Instagram post to announce that she was pregnant once again. "I am so happy and terrified to finally share this ..." she wrote in the caption, accompanying a melange of video and photos displaying her baby bump.

The following May, she revealed that her baby had arrived. "A week ago my whole life changed. My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size," she wrote in a post shared on Instagram Story (via E! News). "The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He's magic. He is all my dreams come true." She subsequently confirmed her son's father to be professional basketball Chanan Safir Colman. "He has given me many of the best gifts of my life," she said of Colman in another Instagram Story post, as reported by People.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie is at the moment 11th in line to the British throne. The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, the princess married British businessman Jack Brooksbank in 2018, in a lavish ceremony held at George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. While celebrating their first wedding anniversary in an Instagram post, Eugenie wrote, "This was the greatest day of my life ... forever and always!"

In September 2020, the couple announced they were expecting their first child, and the following February took to Instagram to proclaim the arrival of their son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.

Then, in January 2023, Buckingham Palace issued a statement (via People) about the couple. "Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer," read the announcement. "The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother." The big day arrived on May 30, with the couple announcing in an Instagram post that the baby had arrived: a second son, whom they'd named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank (George for both the tot's grandfather, George Brooksbank, and great-great-great grandfather, King George V, and Ronnie in honour of Ronald Ferguson, father of Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson). "Augie is loving being a big brother already," she wrote.

Adrien and Jordan Grenier

Actor Adrien has amassed numerous screen credits — including "The Devil Wears Prada" — but it's arguable that his most memorable role remains faux-movie star Vincent Chase in HBO's hit comedy "Entourage."

During a 2022 trip to Morocco, Grenier and his longtime girlfriend, Jordan Roemmele, spontaneously decided to tie the knot. "It wasn't planned. We eloped in the Atlas Mountains while on vacation with friends," Grenier told People of their impromptu wedding, revealing that neither the bride nor groom had any rings for the ceremony, so instead tied pieces of string around each other's fingers.

The couple had another big announcement to make, which came in a June 2023 Instagram post. "We are happy to announce the arrival of our son who was born a few weeks ago," Grenier wrote. "We couldn't be more blissed out, spending the next weeks in divine solitude, mother, father and child. We want to make sure to give our baby an easeful transition from spirit world to this one," he continued, before revealing his singularly unique name. "All rejoice this gift to the world, Seiko Aurelius Grenier, our exquisite golden one, welcome earth side!'"

Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah

Weeks after Robert De Niro stunned the world by revealing he'd fathered a baby at age 79, his "The Godfather Part II" co-star Al Pacino entered the picture to say, "Hold my beer." In late May, TMZ reported that the 83-year-old Oscar winner and his 29-year-old girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, were expecting a baby, with Pacino's rep subsequently confirming the report's veracity to "Entertainment Tonight." Upon hearing the news, De Niro told People, "What a guy. Go Al, God bless him."

While De Niro claimed that his baby had been planned, that apparently wasn't the case with Pacino; Showbiz 411 reported that he was "shocked" to discover he was going to be an octogenarian father, firmly believing — to paraphrase a classic "Seinfeld" episode — that his boys couldn't swim due a thyroid condition. In order to be 100 percent certain, Pacino demanded a paternity test, which proved he was indeed the daddy. Pacino addressed his unique situation in a video obtained by the Daily Mail. "I've got many kids," he said. "But this is really special coming at this time."

In mid-June, People reported that Pacino and Alfallah had welcomed their baby, son Roman Pacino. While Roman is the couple's first child together, the outlet noted that he's Pacino's fourth kid overall; he's also the father of 22-year-old twins Olivia and Anton, whom he shares with "National Lampoon's Vacation" star Beverly D'Angelo, and 33-year-old daughter Julie Marie, whose mother is acting coach Jan Tarrant.

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder

It was a union of vampire franchises when Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder were first linked together in 2014. The happy couple got married in 2015 in California and just like their relationship, their wedding was down-to-earth. "We really wanted our wedding to be small, intimate and about the two of us. We didn't want our loved ones to show up with any expectations or squeezed into formal attire," Reed told Brides (via Page Six).

Reed and Somerhalder welcomed their daughter Bodhi Soleil in 2017, and in January, she announced that they were expecting another baby. "2023 celebrating life. Years of dreaming, manifesting and praying over this very moment. So much love. What a gift. As all of you know, I have very strong boundaries with social media, especially when it comes to children and what I choose to put out into the world. Thank you so much for honoring that, and for sending positivity and kindness and LOVE. Some things are too good not to share," she shared on Instagram

Then, on June 29, Reed revealed in an Instagram Story (via People), "A few weeks ago we welcomed our son on what can only be described as one of the most beautiful days of my life." While she and Somerhalder have yet to reveal their son's name, Reed did tell fans that she was "getting pooped and peed on," but "wouldn't have it any other way."

Naomi Campbell

Naomi Cambell has been a supermodel for decades, but she became a supermom in 2021 when she welcomed her first baby. "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honored to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love," she shared, according to Entertainment Tonight. Campbell debuted her daughter on the cover of British Vogue, and gushed, "She's a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I'm told she's very alert for her age. She's just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She's almost talking."

On June 29, Campbell made another surprising announcement that she'd welcomed a second child. "My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A True Gift from God, blessed ! Welcome Babyboy ... It's never too late to become a mother," the 53-year-old shared on Instagram, proving she can do it all at any age.

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara

Meghan Trainor and her husband, Daryl Sabara kicked off the summer in a major way. On July 1, Trainor gave birth to their second baby — a son. The talented singer took to Instagram to rejoice in his arrival. "On July 1st (our 7 year anniversary of our first date) we welcomed Barry Bruce Trainor into the world," wrote Trainor. "He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz...and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time! Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us." Sabara — who's best known for his role in "Spy Kids" — posted the same slideshow, which featured adorable shots of their baby's first moments.

Fortunately, it sounds like Trainor had a much easier time with delivery than with her first baby, born two years earlier. Although Trainor once assured fans that her oldest son, Riley, was "perfect, happy, and healthy," he spent the first few days of his life in the NICU because of abnormal breathing (via Us Weekly). Riley was also very eager to spend time with his new brother! On July 6, Trainor posted an Instagram video of Riley meeting Barry for the first time. In the series of clips, the adorable toddler eagerly hugged and attempted to hold the newborn. Once his parents assured him that he'd done a "good job," he smiled to himself.

Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll

Erin Andrews became a new mother after welcoming her first child with her husband Jarret Stoll. Today reported the couple endured a monumental journey to parenthood as they unsuccessfully struggled with grueling rounds of IVF treatments for nine years before eventually turning to a surrogate. However, it was all worth it when they welcomed their beautiful, bouncing baby boy into the world in early July.

"It's not easy. It's been one of the most challenging things in my life," Andrews told Us Weekly about her fertility battle. The sportscaster said she believed being open about her struggle was important to help remove the stigma surrounding the issue. "If I can give comfort to other people and bring things up in a discussion where people feel a little easier about bringing it up or talking about it, maybe we could start support groups or foundations for it," Andrews said. "It's just nothing to be embarrassed about, especially when so many people are going through it."

Andrews' situation was complicated further by her cervical cancer diagnosis. Thankfully, she had frozen several embryos before undergoing treatment, which included surgically removing part of her cervix. "I had actually frozen my eggs before all this a couple of years back, just because it was all the rage," she told Health. "If we need 'em, we need 'em; and if we don't, we don't. We just wanna be smart," she added.

Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas

Lindsay Lohan has known that she wanted to be a mom for a long time. Her mother, Dina Lohan, told People, "Lindsay has always loved kids because I love kids and my mother loves kids; I'm one of four. We have a big family, so she's always wanted children. And she's so maternal. Isabelle, her niece, just runs to her when she sees her." Lindsay announced the exciting news that she and her husband Bader Shammas were expecting their first baby together on March 14 by posting an Instagram pic of a onesie with the words "Coming soon..." She wrote, "We are blessed and excited!"

On July 17, CNN confirmed that Lindsay and Shammas' baby boy had arrived. "Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love," the outlet shared. According to Stylecaster, Luai is a form of the Arabic name Lu'ayy, which means "wild ox" and represents "strong" and "steady." Lindsay first revealed she was pregnant to her husband by unceremoniously showing the pregnancy test to him. "I walked into the room, I threw the test down. I was like, 'Guess what?' He goes, 'We are?'" she revealed to Allure in June. At the time she gushed, "I can't wait to see what the feeling is and what it's like to just be a mom."

Ashley Olsen and Louis Eisner

Ashley Olsen is notorious for keeping her life private, so when TMZ reported that she gave birth in 2023, it was definitely a big surprise. The outlet was able to confirm that Olsen and her husband, Louis Eisner, welcomed a baby boy they named Otto in early-to-mid-2023. Not much is known about the baby other than he was born in New York. Olsen was likely able to keep her pregnancy a complete secret because she is rarely seen in public. According to People magazine, Olsen and Eisner have only been seen out and about together a handful of times since they started dating in 2017.

For those hoping for a glimpse of baby Otto, we have some bad news; Olsen doesn't even have a social media account where she could introduce her son to the world. That is, of course, if she all of a sudden decided that she wanted to share her private life with all of us. "We don't dive into that world. We don't have Instagram or Facebook. So we've never been connected to our customers or our fans in that way. We've stayed quite sheltered," Olsen previously told Net-A-Porter.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian

And baby makes four! That's right— Serena William and Alexis Ohanian now have enough kids to face off in a family tennis match. The couple tied the knot in 2017 after two years of dating. During their engagement, however, the pair welcomed their first child, daughter Olympia, in September 2017, just two months before they walked down the aisle.

As the years went by, the famous tennis player voiced she was looking forward to expanding her family with Ohanian. In August 2022, she told Vogue, "In the last year, Alexis and I have been trying to have another child, and we recently got some information from my doctor that put my mind at ease and made me feel that whenever we're ready, we can add to our family." In May, Williams walked hand in hand with Ohanian at the 2023 Met Gala, but it wasn't their outfits that everyone was talking about — it was the baby bump the Grand Slam champ was sporting, per BBC

It seems like the two are fans of surprising the public because, in August, Williams dropped a TikTok announcing she had given birth to her second daughter. Ohanian later shared a post honoring his wife and revealing the name of their latest addition. He wrote, "Welcome, Adira River Ohanian. I'm grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama." Ohanian put it best when referring to noted "GOAT" Williams as "GMOAT" — Greatest Mother of All Time.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky

If there's one "IT" couple in Hollywood, it's definitely Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. The two musicians have been friends for a long time, but it wasn't until January 2020 that their relationship grew into something more, per Us Weekly. Details about the pair's romance have been hard to come by but the couple made headlines everywhere after they announced they were pregnant with their first child in January 2022. By May of that year, Rihanna and A$AP welcomed their baby boy, RZA Athelston Mayers, into their lives, per the Los Angeles Times.

Rihanna was over the moon about becoming a mother. In a rare interview with British Vogue, she shared, "Oh my God, [becoming a mom] it's legendary. It's everything. You really don't remember life before, that's the craziest thing ever." The couple didn't wait long to welcome another little bundle of joy after RZA. In February, Rihanna sent the internet ablaze after she performed during the Super Bowl halftime show, not just because of her performance, but because she was most definitely rocking a baby bump, per Elle. The musician's reps later confirmed she was pregnant.

In August, TMZ reported the couple had welcomed their second child. Rihanna and A$AP didn't release a statement about the latest addition, but the "Praise The Lord" rapper did tease that they would reveal the name soon. And apparently, it starts with an "R," like their big brother RZA.

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum (again)

In late 2019, Paris Hilton started dating businessman Carter Reum, who she first met in her 20s. Two years later, the pair tied the knot in a lavish Bel-Air wedding featuring many of Hollywood's biggest stars, including Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, and Emma Roberts. "I had found my missing piece. To me, you're more than my husband. You're my best friend, my teacher, my lover, my confidant, and the father of our future children," Hilton wrote in a post-wedding tribute to Reum.

Following their nuptials, Hilton continued giving a glimpse into her life with Reum, occasionally hinting at wanting to start a family. "I would want twins first, she revealed during a January 2022 appearance on E!'s "Daily Pop" (via E! News). "I don't know, it's hard to say. I always wish I had an older brother because I feel like if I did, they would protect me and things like that in school." Unsurprisingly, it did not take long for the television star to start her motherhood journey.

In January 2023, Hilton announced she had welcomed her first child with Reum, a son, via surrogacy. "It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," she told People at the time. Ten months later, Hilton surprisingly revealed she and Reum had welcomed their second child together, this time a daughter, also via a surrogate. "Thankful for my baby girl," she sweetly captioned a Thanksgiving-inspired Instagram post that revealed the child's name: London.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker

On November 1, 2023, Kourtney Kardashian welcomed her first child, Rocky Thirteen Barker, with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker at a Los Angeles hospital. The newborn's birth came only a few weeks after the "Keeping Up with the Kardashian" star suffered a medical emergency resulting in a life-threatening fetal surgery. "I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life," Kardashian wrote in an appreciation post shared on her Instagram. "Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing," she added.

Kardashian first announced her pregnancy during a June 2023 Blink-182 when she held up a handwritten sign in the audience. "Travis I'm pregnant," the sign read. Despite Kourtney having three children with her ex Scott Disick, and Barker having two kids with his ex Shaonna Moakler, the couple is thrilled about their newest addition. "Kourtney is over the moon about her son's arrival," a source close to the reality star told People. "Her pregnancy took a stressful turn towards the end. She is happy to just be able to snuggle her baby boy now. She feels so blessed."
