- Z has worked with and interviewed Cedric Hill — an award-winning director whose accolades include Best Short Film from the Festival de Cannes — for an article about Tyler Perry's character Madea and her importance in modern Black cinema.
- As a drag performer herself, Z stays abreast of all things "Drag Race" and has worked on the same stages as some of the show's alumni.
Experience
Z joined Static Media in 2022. She is always listening to or watching new YouTube videos to keep up with the latest on Dramageddon members. And reality TV? She's all over that! As the child of an actor and a writer/director, it was inevitable that Z would have a passion for all things arts and entertainment. One of her biggest loves, however, has to be writing. From high school to college, Z has been published in and helped edit her school literary magazines "Dead Center" and "Underground Pool" and has been acclaimed for her spoken word pieces and perceptive papers. Poetry is another passion of Z's. She has been a featured poet multiple times, was published in Moonstone Art Center's Featured Poet's Anthology, and received a partial scholarship for poetry for creative writing at the University of the Arts.
Education
Z graduated from the University of the Arts in 2024. She earned a BFA in creative writing, graduated summa cum laude, was a University Honors Scholar, and won The President's Award for her poetry thesis.
