Louisa Marshall is an award-winning journalist located in Los Angeles, California. She got her start in the journalism world by writing for her university's newspaper, and quickly fell in love with the art of reporting. Since working through the ranks of her college paper, Louisa has spent over half a decade reporting high-impact beats in all mediums, and has extensive experience in investigative and political reporting. Louisa’s work has been published by some of Southern California’s finest outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, LA Magazine, and NBC News LA. In addition, she has collaborated with The Orange County Register, Ms. Magazine, the FIRE Institute, and the Student Press Law Center, among other institutions. She currently serves as a news editor for The List, as well as a reporter for The List's features and exclusive content sections.


Louisa has a bachelor's degree in history from Chapman University, where she specialized in 20th century gender history. She also served as Editor-in-Chief of her university's newspaper.
