Briana Trusty is your very trusty source for all entertainment news. She got her start in entertainment news writing for Latina Magazine in New York before taking her talents to the West Coast to write for E! News. During her time at E!, Briana also produced content for E!'s "Daily Pop" morning show and E! Online's "Freestyle" series. After launching her YouTube channel, Very Trusty Source, in 2017, Briana expanded the channel in 2021, introducing the interview Straight From the Source. Briana began freelancing with Static Media in 2016, writing for Nicki Swift's news and features teams. She served as a Nicki Swift editor before joining the hiring team as an Editorial Hiring Manager.

Briana is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina. She has a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in Spanish.
