Brittany came to Static Media as a freelance writer in July 2022 and transitioned to an editor role in October 2022. She has been working in media, in some capacity, since 2009. With a passion for writing, music, and pop culture, she started her own entertainment site, The Spotlight, in June of that year. The blog allowed her to build experience and crack the door into the entertainment industry. She started her lifestyle website, Imperfectly B, sharing positive news stories, inspirational music, and videos. Brittany has also written for other media marketing agencies and online publications, including Switch Media,, and Zenpost.


Brittany received her bachelor's degree in communication (specializing in journalism) from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. Her media classes at Loyola taught her to stay curious and always be open to learning new skills as a content creator.
